We booked this hotel directly through their website, as they usually have better prices than others like Booking and the truth is that it was the cheapest we could find.It is a new hotel, built during this year 2024 and is in the Stratford area. I'll start by talking about the area, because the truth is that it gives a bit of respect. Despite the fact that it is the "Olympic area" and that it has a Westfield shopping center right at the station next door and that it is also very well connected because the station has connection with several metro lines, DLR and others, it is an area a little dodgy It gives a lot of respect to get there at night because of the type of people who look very bad and also right next door they have a kind of disco/bar that as a consequence makes the music play during the weekends (including the Friday). Keep this in mind, because the truth is that although we had already read that there were bad-looking people, we didn't think it was that bad.As for the hotel itself, it should be noted that the check-in and check-out process is very fast and everything is done through a tablet, so you will not have to worry about the language because you will hardly have contact with anyone. (There is still one person at reception always). Right next to the check-in area they also have a kind of mini-supermarket so you can buy some snacks and they also have a laundry room on that same floor (although we were only there for a short time, we didn't even get to go in).As for the room, we got one on the first floor. Our room was the Queen Room, which is the most basic they have. The difference with respect to the Studio Pad is that the Queen Room does not have a kitchen itself (no stove or microwave), but it does have a kettle, coffee maker, toaster and also cutlery, plates and bowls. The room also has an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. What it doesn't have and I would have liked is:- Tea bags. Although some coffee capsules do come, being in London it would be better if they left some tea bags, but nothing...- Milk/cream tubs. It would be nice if they put some small cups of milk or cream to accompany the coffee/tea.- Water. I suppose that since they are so used to tap water in London, they don't consider it necessary, but I don't think a welcome bottle of water would be a big expense for them.As for the room itself, the bed is foldable, so it can be partially folded to gain some more space. The bed is about 150cm, so it's not small either (which is one of the common problems with London hotels, where most beds are 120cm). Two pillows come, so you can put one or two as you see fit. There is also a small sofa and a desk with a fairly large TV. There are plenty of USB plugs and sockets (both USB-A and USB-C), so don't worry. And now comes the most negative point for me: the bathroom. The bathroom follows the trend that is now so fashionable of having no walls and being translucent. In this case it is not that the bathtub/shower is, but that the ENTIRE bathroom itself is semi-transparent, so you will clearly see your partner sitting on the toilet when they go to the bathroom. I don't find it very pleasant even if you go with your partner, so keep that in mind. It's not just that, but also the door didn't close properly and even when closed, it had openings through which you could see everything and hear everything. It's like there are no walls, so you may (like us) feel uncomfortable. For us, the truth is that it was the most uncomfortable part of the trip. The shower itself is good, and the soaps/shampoos are good too, but if I could, I would do a small renovation and separate the toilet itself from the shower.Otherwise nothing else to highlight... The cleaning service was very good, the bed was quite comfortable (although the mattresses are not the best in the world and I don't think they will last many years... they are comfortable because they are new).

very clean and modern, great transport links too, would definitely stay here again.Only minus was that our view was a brick wall, however it did mean we had a lot of privacy and heard no noise from the road at all

I had an amazing stay at YOTELPAD London Stratford! The hotel was incredibly clean and located in a fantastic area, close to train stations, the mall, and everything you need. A special shoutout to Jack at the reception—he was so sweet, helped me with everything I needed, and was truly professional. Highly recommend this place!

I chose this hotel because it’s newer, in a great location, and just a 7-minute walk to the train station. It’s also easily accessible, with a good mall nearby. The hotel staff were generally helpful, and my room was clean. Booked a Premium Studio PAD but was unexpectedly given a wheelchair-accessible room without being informed beforehand. The room had no vanity in the bathroom, a lowered sink close to the toilet (which didn’t have a lid), and a foldable chair in the shower area. When I asked to change rooms, I was told this was the last available room. Odd how despite booking two months in advance when other similar rooms were still listed as available, I was assigned to this one. They eventually found a smaller room for me the following day. I asked if I would receive a refund for downgrading to the smaller room, but somehow the staff managed to switch me to what she said was a similar-sized room instead. It was smaller, but when asked they explained that this was ‘due to the accessible features in the original room.’4 things to also note. The glass door into the shower is very narrow and you might have a problem getting in. Wifi is bad, keeps dropping and likely caused the tv to frame freeze every other minute. The room door are hard to close so you will hear slamming of doors every now and then. And perhaps, indicate that you don’t want an accessible room if you don’t.

Very very bad experience, rooms are not what they look like online, a lot smaller than it looks. The staff are not helpful at all, terrible customer service. Even after cancelling the booking, getting refund has been a problem for almost 2 weeks. The staff I spoke to has to be most unhelpful person ever. All I want is my refund of over £1,200 pounds

Very friendly, nice and helpful staff! At least 10 stars for that!!!The hotel is very clean. The rooms very small but comfortable. Very smart. One room overlooked a backyard, but the windows couldn't be opened here. The other window faced the park, here you could open the window safely, there was a lock on the handle, but according to the reception it wasn't possible to open it.24 hour air conditioning is just very loud at night. When you turn it off it's too stuffy with no windows to open.Location very good, you can get everywhere from Stratfort with all subway lines. To two airports without changing trains, very practical.Opposite the hotel is a park where homeless people and junkies live. Next door there are several pubs and betting offices as well as many supermarkets and the second largest department store in Europe.

The rooms are super modern, new and very functional, our bed was retractable and all digital switches, many USB ports*negative points: the internet and connectivity to the TV is horrible, very bad, you can't watch a YouTube video without stopping every 30 seconds, the connection is very bad, you don't always connect and when you do you have problems because it is through an interface and not directly to the TV, the bathroom is semi transparent and you can hear everything from the other side, the shower opens inwards and leaves about 20cm at its narrowest part if you are very big or fat this will really be a problem, yes If you come as a couple this can be somewhat delicate if more than 2 people come, I do not recommend it at all, the room window is locked with a key so if you want fresh air it will not happen, they have a coffee maker but they do not have glasses for the coffee maker ( little ones )These are details that can be improved and as for the bathroom, it is something totally selective for each person.Overall very good hotel, very friendly staff
