The extra mile starts here! Greeted by Brenda who is intent on making sure the stay was perfect. The Tea Room is full of character and style; it’s what makes the place. The breakfast, truly wonderful. Right in the heart of the citadel, everything is easy to get to. It’s quiet and cozy. Couldn’t ask for more.

The most lovely bnb I’ve ever stayed in. Warm welcome, lots of amenities in the room and the cozy decor made me feel instantly at home. Amazing soft duvet and pillows and great shower. I was welcomed with a glass of wine and will definitely come back with my other half.

A stay at The Tea House is just like a return to an old family home. That's how welcome, familiar and comfortable it is. We stayed in the Sky Parlour with probably the most comfortable bed ever. …

We stayed at the Tea Room for a couple of days, Brenda had found out it was my birthday so when we arrived she had put up birthday banners as a surprise! Brenda is a lovely, friendly host, she also offered us a glass of wine on arrival! The place is so lovely and cosy, the rooms have been decorated superbly. The continental breakfast is well worth it too, you won't get a better breakfast anyway else. The location is right in the middle of Rye so you have everything at yiur finger tips. We will be visiting Brenda again as soon as we can.

This quirky little house offers accommodation suiting to its name. Rooms are wonky and warm. Bathroom is modern and fresh. Medicine cabinet full of cosmetic bottle in case you forgot to bring some with you. Yea box has some snacks. Owner Brenda is personally at your service. You can have a lovely breakfast in the living room. I recommend that since the food in the cafes outside not up to standard. The Tea House is in the right Centre of town and very easy to reach from the car park which costs £2.50 a day.
