Given the extremely reasonable price, I was impressed. The room was well-furnished, clean, tidy, quiet, cool and comfortable. The location is superb, too. Staff members Aggie and Lottie were very efficient, accommodating and friendly.

A very good hotel for staying on the front and with great sea view from room. Whilst communal areas were quite tired - the rooms were good and to a modern standard. Great location with respect to old and new town. Underground Car parking within two minute walk from hotel.

No frills seaside hotel on the front. Not the lap of luxury but equally have no complaints and very affordable out of season.

Clean, spacious, quiet(ish), like most beachfront hotels with a road between it and the beach, ear buds would be a good idea, helpful front desk staff, good value for money. The room windows really need a clean though.

Not worth £122 a night. Stayed in better in eastbourne which included breakfast. Squeaky bed. Chipped bathroom floor tiles. Grouting needs updating . Broken tile in shower. Bedside lamp not working which I reported a few years ago. No food available. Plug release not working so sink filed up. Lift not working.

Dirty, noisy and totally run-down hotel. The fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night and the backyard was a gathering place for people on their way to and from parties. …
