Quiet, comfortable and fabulously decorated B&B. Close to St Leonard's station and London Road, with its collection of antique shops and independent restaurants and cafes. Fifteen minute walk to the sea. Hospitality and hosting was pitched just right, breakfasts were great.

A very lovely place. We felt honoured to be in this special house with lovely furniture, artwork and a beautiful garden. Rooms individually furnished and very comfortable. Attentive and knowledgeable host who cooks a delicious breakfast. This our second stay and we will return. A true gem of a place, we left so relaxed. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic Guest House.We had the most amazing Hospitality couldn't do enough for us.Beautiful room and the Art decor was also amazing.A very well educated owner with some out of this world paintings.Thank you for a fantastic time.A slight long walk to the beach but don't be put off this truly was amazing.

Host was lovely, stayed there for work by myself and felt very safe. Everything was clean and I felt very accommodated. The host even recommended few restaurants, one of which I went to and it was super!

Wonderful place to stay, very warm welcome with a great tour of the garden (work in progress) looking forward to returning to see how it's matured, many thanks for the Weeping Rosemary cutting.Our room was perfect, so too was the breakfast it set us up for our day out.We took the advise of the owner and visited Great Dixter House and Gardens on the way home, thank you for the recommendation we thoroughly enjoyed that too.

Terrific host, attentive, cultured, wonderful restaurant advice. Room spacious and very nice decoration. Garden is under construction. All fine for us. It is a steep 15-20 minute downhill walk to town centre and beach. Getting back a bit harder. Again okay for us. But good to know.

By far one of the best places I have stayed at.From the moment we arrived they welcomed us in, amazing owner and the property is fabulous rooms are done to a very high spec with some amazing art work and books for the quests to enjoy.Will definitely be back to visit.

Me and my son Bartholomew went to this terrible place and they had the audacity to loiter many g*mes around the room including consoles. What's more, Maise had the foolish decision to beat up my poor son and the staff did NOTHING ABOUT IT. I now hate this place, Goodbye.

What a beautiful boutique B&B! From the moment you step in you are surrounded with carefully selected artwork, literature and fine furniture which you would place in a gallery. The rooms are beautiful and very clean with comfortable beds and high quality bedding. The breakfast was truly scrumptious and also of high quality.Shahriar was very welcoming and accommodating with all of our needs. Thank you so much Shahriar and we would love to see your garden once you complete it!

Incredible place found at a steal. The decor is beautiful and a reflection of the owner Shahriar Mazandi with a great attention to detail.The room was stunning with a bath and a rainfall shower, with products SLS and paraben free.Vast selection of literature to suit all tastes runs throughout the guesthouse.Breakfast was fantastic with feest ingredients.Great location, truly felt welcomed and rested, will definitely be back to see the garden and the fruit trees.

What can I say? I have been for the first time to The Cloudesley Guests House, first impression, very homy, but the way a friend of mine suggested to me, as I always travel for work reasons and i have been always to a classic hotels, e.g. Premier Inns, Holiday Inns which im a member of the IHG and so on...This is my very first time as i mentioned above, and its a mind blowing, i guess i was one of the lucky, the owner made me choose from his best rooms so i choose the biggest room, bed super confy and pillows fantastic, so i slept like a baby...lol... ;)Anyway, lets go back to the facts, i can definitely tell you that any times i am around this area The Cloudesley hotel is the must for me to stay and i can definitely say you must go in order to see it with your own eyes.What else i can say, the breakfast is amazing the owner spoilled me with choices, cooked from scratched and just for me, he made me feel so special, unique and important. So thank you very much :) God bless you....Oh! One more thing the price is very competitive and affordable compare to others.Anyway, i can keep writing about The Cloudesley, but i don't want to make you loose intrest by reading my review, so just go and see with your own eyes.Thanks again and see you very soon.Ulysses

Wow what a fantastic place, elegant, stylish, comfortable,clean and very relaxing.As a chef for thirty years I was absolutely amazed with the choice of breakfast which was prepared with love.I had the best omelette ever, organic figs with mushrooms and bacon a good cheddar cheese sauted with cognac and free range eggs seasoned to perfection,this absolutely pairs so so well.I will definitely be staying at the Cloudesley again,thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay with you.

Decided to take a break in Hastings for a couple of days.Good location 10-15 minutes walk from the beach with free on-road parking (although like Brighton, Hastings is pretty hilly so be prepared, it's uphill back to bed!). There's a useful cut through using the FootBridge at Warrior Square Railway Station.We picked one of the smaller rooms but it was well laid-out with with ensuite toilet and drench shower, well decorated like the rest of the house with many photographs and art most of which can be attributed to the owner (which explained the professional printer in the dining room!) and a large & ecletic selection of books. A kettle and selection of instant coffee and teas was available in the room as was fresh milk, RO water and a small refridgerator.Our host Shariar was most helpful and I can recommend his omelette for breakfast.Currently Google Maps shows the wrong pin location on the map, use the full address (No. 7) for navigation. - Have submitted a correction.

This is the ONLY place to stay when visiting Hastings. The owner was a very welcome host, interesting to chat to and a very good cook. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice for all tastes. The bedroom was fantastic with quality bedding and super cosy feel. 10/10. I will be back, Thank you

The Cloudsley is a paradise full of books and paintings. The owner most welcoming without being fussy. I loved my spacious beautifully furnished room......everything one could dream of.....and QUIET. I arrived hot and bothered after a stressful journey....I left feeling serene and cared for. What a find. I will be back.
