We had breakfast here on a recent trip to Rye. It is a pokey little dinette with a small choice of 'breakfast food'. Nevertheless, we thought we'd give it a go. I opted for a sausage roll, which came cold and my partner had tuna sandwiches (that shows how uninspiring the breakfast menu was). There was more bread than tuna tbh. I sent my tepid hot chocolate and cold sausage roll back to be heated. The positive was, there was a nice view from the steps as we left.NB. No we didn't buy downstairs. We sat at the table at the end of the bar where payment is made. And yes we had a menu as well.

Such a wonderful stay at The Old Borough Arms. Honestly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in, very cozy feel and only a 9 min drive to camber sands beach. Great restaurants and pubs around it. Sarah is also an extremely kind host - she even posted me a couple items of clothing that I left behind! Definitely stay here!!

Warm welcome, extremely comfortable bed and very good value for a family room. Best scrambled eggs for breakfast - lots of other things on the menu too. The location is perfect, beautiful cobble stoned streets to explore right at the doorstep.

Very pleased to recommend the Old Borough Arms. Such a unique building in an ideal location. My room was beautifully decorated with an excellent, modern bathroom. I particularly liked the accessibility of being on the ground floor. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was very good. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable and I am looking forward to my next visit!
