Gem of a place. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Huge shout out to Debbie, the most plain speaking person i think I've ever met and I'm not sorry. Knows what she's talking about, leaves you with all the info and around for any problem you might have and a natter. Confident if there was a problem, she'd solve it perfectly but not necessary in the slightest

Arrived in our campervan and was able to check-in straight away which was quick and easy. We then stayed for a couple of drinks and a game of pool before having an evening meal. The food was exceptional and the staff were really friendly. Great peaceful nights sleep too

Just arrived home after a lovely weekend away . We stayed for bed and breakfast but ended up having an evening meal . The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The food is outstanding we found no fault at all with either the meal or the breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the prices of drinks are very reasonable.

Just finished our stay here this morning.We stayed for 2 nights. On the first night our boy bumped his head and the staff were very quick and attentive bringing out first aid kits to help our little man out!The room was perfect nice spacious and clean. With everything we needed for our stay.The evening food was absolutely fantastic big portions and very nice home cooked pub grub !Breakfast was spot on.All staff nice friendly and welcoming.Will definitely use Fern farm hotel ad our bridlington base again in the future.Thanks for having us !

Disgusting! Initially told check in is 2-9pm. We had a day out with family who were staying elsewhere, had planned to all return here for dinner. Receive a phone call at 5pm to say they were closing as Monday is their only day off. …

Ordered the Ferns mega burger and was absolutely blown away, an amazing burger that lives up to its name. Couldn't fault a thing, burger was mega, bacon was crispy, onion rings were mahoosive and the chips were banging. Just what I needed after a hard day's work. Keep it up 👍

Stayed here for 2 nights during a last minute trip to see Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough.The manager was really friendly and welcoming.Room was ideal for what we needed. Clean, and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities and a TV.Decor needs a bit of updating throughout, but that's down to to the brewery owners, not the management.Breakfast had a wide variety of options. The full English was delicious.Didn't get chance to try the other menu options as ate elsewhere in evenings.Plenty of parking on site. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and fine, but I felt it was a little overpriced overall. The breakfast was delicious and we all enjoyed it but the instant coffee that you have to make yourself did let it down a little.

I stopped here for 3 nights.Rooms where spotless and the staff where all very welcoming and so helpful.Breakfast was very good with a good choice too.Also the food on the evening was amazing, very high standards.I also used the spa/leisure centre during my stay, having this attached to the hotel at no extra cost is a bonus.Must stay at this place.I will every time I'm in the area.ThanksJohn

unfortunately we did not stay to eat. I rung up and booked a table to be told on the phone that there was no steak or gammon (the day before Easter Sunday). I said it was OK as we probably would not eat steak or gammon anyway. We got there and were told we could not sit in the bar area even though tables were available. We had to sit in what was like a corridor area that was very cold.... alone !! We were then told there was no steak and gammon which we already knew but now no chicken either. And there was also no salad dishes on the menu at all. We were very limited to choice. After looking at the menu that we could hardly read as there was hardly any light, we went to the bar to order as no one came to the table to take our order and no one told us on arrival that we had to order at the bar. No communication! We said "ok we would like to order" and before we could say our order, the man at the bar said "oh.........., its going to take a long time, we have 4 other tables waiting and only one chef" We asked how long and he said , he does not know, could be 45-60 minutes. So we left. It really is a shame as we stay regularly in the area and next time I came to the Bridlington area I wanted to try the rooms at Ferns Farm but after this experience , no thank you. How can you run out of food the day before a Bank Holiday weekend, the day before Easter?. I could understand this more if we had come after the bank holiday weekend and they had had a rush on and completely sold out. Shame. I know Ferns Farm from the past and it was once good, not any more it seems. (certainly not from our experience anyway)
