Rooms are tired with stains on carpets and walls but are clean, did not expect the earth for £50 a night so have not lowered the score too much based on this as you get what you pay for.Mattress was uncomfortable and my husband could feel the springs and didn't sleep well. This was not mentioned to the staff during the visit as it was late and we were tired from traveling, this may have been a rectifiable one off.Free parking available and we were given a free travel cot for the room for the little one. Travel cot was a good place to pop the baby down when we were both getting ready but unfortunately more suited to older children than our 3 month old - however this is usually for the type provided by most hotels so not a surprise.Rooms where quiet however we travelled midweek and it appeared to be used mainly for business at this time

The staff were friendly, informative and helpful. They were also available 24 hours a day and were always present when needed. As for the rooms, they were very basic and bland with barely any plug sockets and the ones we did have were in strange places. One of our beds had a pube in it waiting for us. The TV had minimal tuned in channels. Also the lighting in the car park was so close to the windows that it was constantly shining through (definitely needs repositioning). The positives were the beds were comfortable and the staff had put an iron and ironing board in my room other than that it's in need of a major update. Shame really but we won't be returning.

Booked for 2 nights.Arrived to the hotel - corridors smell of weed and cigarettes. Sketchy people coming in and out. Horrible experince.Room standard - terrible. Horrible smell from bathroom. Carpets unclean.I did not bother staying the 2nd night, awoke in the morning and left.Next time I will pay slightly more and stay in a travel lodge or premier inn.

Room was very average. Bed was not the best. I suppose you get what you pay for. It's good for stopping a day or two with work.

The hotel was perfectly functional. Close enough to Sheffield but in a quieter area. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating . The rooms are comfortable and clean. There's a pub just across the road for some food and a vending machine in the lobby that's fully stocked. I had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it
