I didn’t have high hopes and wasn’t disappointed. It was fine for a bed to get the first Eurostar to Paris the next morning. Rooms were tiny, a bit grubby, the TV didn’t work, half the lights didn’t work, but it was a 5 minute walk to the Eurostar terminal.

I'm sorry to have to write such a negative review, but unfortunately a very bad experience. Given the "medium low" but not free price, we could have imagined not finding something amazing, but this is too much...too disgusting! The idea was to try the experience of sleeping for 3 nights in one of these typical Georgian neighborhood houses, but we are stuck in a situation bordering on legality. We arrive and they give us room no. 2, note this number carefully. it was on the ground floor, under the stairs...already stuffy, with incredible humidity entering, walls peeling from mould, a filthy bathroom and dirty sheets. Floor visibly unwashed.Tiny room with a window at street level... which we couldn't keep open because a nice little mouse was running around outside.Plus my 8 year old son's first experience abroad...We immediately go to the reception where we find a super cute and embarrassed girl who was already aware of this obscenity because without batting an eyelid she immediately offered us two double rooms on the third floor, which we immediately went to see, even there it couldn't be said that she shone. of hygiene, then I wonder why the English persist in using these fabric beds, kitchens and bed covers which are visibly dirty? sheet a little stained, but thank God I had brought one from home and bathroom not at the top. In the end I disinfected the bathroom myself. The room where my husband slept ditto...clean a word and smelled of cat pee. Terrible experience never again...lesson learned! The only positive note, quiet street and 3 minutes from King Cross subway.I just wonder why they don't do anything to improve this condition.

Looks & smells like a crack den! |Avoid at all costs. Stayed for 1 night and never again…the smell of damp was horrific. The place is awful, narrow room couldn’t swing a cat in it. Seriously don’t put yourself through it. We didn’t sleep a wink. Stay somewhere else.

Location was great and close to Kings Cross as advertised, rooms aren't really too soundproof, on one of the evening I could hear another person staying next door playing their music fairly loudly. …
