Avoid this hotel.The worst internet I've ever had, even WhatsApp messages wouldn't be sent. I asked at the reception and they apparently just have 1 router for the whole hotel.My room was ridiculously small, and noisy from the street.Oh and the housekeeping charged me 50 pounds for a damage to a kettle I didn't cause...

You cannot just have a room and call it a hotel room. This was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. No where to put clothes, no wardrobe. The noise all night is too much, could barely sleep. This place should never be called a hotel. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

If you've ever wanted to experience what it's like to be a gnome, look no further! The King's Cross Express Inn offers rooms that are perfect for customers with a passion for minimal space. It was a challenge to open our suitcases without doing some acrobatic feats, as it required moving the chair first—but once it was moved, we couldn't walk past the bed.Oh, and don't forget to bring your gold stash—everything from an early check-in to a slightly larger room comes at a premium. And to top it all off: the WiFi doesn't work, and both the body lotion and shower gel are gone, or the bottle simply doesn't work. For a four-star hotel I expected more than a gnome's shelter without comfort. But hey, maybe those stars are for speed—because you really want to get out of here as quickly as possible!As a bonus, you get free construction sounds on Saturday mornings from 8am, which almost jolted us out of bed, because apparently the staff has nothing more fun to do than start your day off early with a good dose of noise and a restoration project. But hey, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the shower was wonderful. And believe me, during this stay you really need a good bed and a nice shower to repair the damage of gnome life!

Like others have said - the rooms are very small but it’s just what you need as a solo traveler. I was staying one night before catching a train to Scotland and it was the perfect location to walk your bags over to kings cross. Good central location.I would not recommend this for people staying multiple days in the city or for more than one person. The rooms below the ground level are musky and the walls and doors are thin. Could not see myself staying there more than one night but it worked out fine for what it is

On arrival very nice reception area clean and pleasing to the eye. Staff also very pleasant, nothing was to much trouble. Small double room clean and presentable, lovely on suite, yes to some hotels we have stayed at on our visits to London. Would deffinetly book again!!

Super handy and great value. Room is small, but this is clearly advertised and is all you need for somewhere handy in central London. Very friendly and helpful staff at the desk - thank you. Rooms are clean, air con works very well and bed/ bedding comfy. Will certainly stay again.

This hotel was very clean but the rooms were very small. The main problem with my stay is the internet, I can’t work on your WiFi and my room is below a single for my phone. You really need to sort this out and that is why I’ve given you one stat, for business I really would not recommend booking here.
