I stayed here as a solo traveller for 4 nights. This hotel is conveniently located across the street from Kings Cross and St Pancras stations, which means it is also right by multiple Underground lines. The staff in Howard Winchester is incredibly friendly and helpful and I received some great recommendations and advice. As far as cleanliness and amenities go, the rooms are the perfect amount of space for a few days trip. Considering this is a "budget" hotel, I felt very comfortable and safe staying here and would absolutely return when I am in London next. PS; don't underestimate how nice it is to be able to walk across the street from your train and avoid the hassle of commuting with luggage to a farther hotel.

This year was my third time in London. Last years I had booked a room in a different hotel. I liked the Howard Winchester hotel the most. It is very close to the train station and underground. My single room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff at reception were very friendly. I will return to the Howard Winchester hotel next year, without a doubt.

This is a lovely hotel, nice and clean. Perfect location just situated up the road from kings cross station. No lift in hotel but we knew this before arrival. Staff are lovely|and helpful, even making sure we got the right tubes. Would definitely stay again.

ok if you want luxury this is not the place if you want a comfortable bed close to the train by all means book here note that there is NO elevator and very narrow stairs but good value for the price

Excellent location. Very clean, comfortable bed, good shower and friendly helpful staff.Our stay was during the summer and the room was intolerably hot. There was a fan but it made little difference. There's no lift so the narrow steep stairs would be difficult for guests with mobility issues. We have stayed here a number of times in the past and would definitely stay again.

A great little hotel very close to Kingscross, very clean in all aspects, friendly staff. Very comfy bed, easy to find and would highly recommend, if we visit London again I have no doubt this would be our first choice, shame they don't do breakfast as that would be a plus for this place

Correct room. I asked by email if it was possible to be on the ground floor and have a double bed even for solo reservations. Wishes granted.Room without real view but to sleep there, that's enough. Small bathroom but very functional.Room not air conditioned.

We had 2 newly renovated 2-bed rooms next to each other as a family.Everything was very clean, the cleaning team always did a great job.The rooms were small, but we were only there to sleep.The reception was staffed around the clock and the staff were very friendly.5 minutes from Kings Cross was ideal for us.We have nothing to complain about.

This is in an interesting area of Argyle square, where there are many small grade 2 hotels. This one is very well kept up and a great value. It’s an easy walk with luggage from Kings Cross station.
