The hotel is in need of refurbishment - peeling paint on the window frames. The room was incredibly dark and had insufficient lighting. The mattress had completely sunk on one side, with a real pit you could accidentally roll into. The room was cold, and the heating made awful noises when turned on. A ceiling panel in my room was also missing. The bathroom smelled weird. They have stripped out most amenities and you have to go to reception to ask for cleaning and or fresh towels. This is inconvenient when you are in a rush to leave for appointments in the morning. At least it was reasonably clean.

Very old hotel staff didn't really care, no towels in our room then waited 40 mins for them to be bought to our room. Breakfast was perfect 👌

Ghastly. Presumably this place started out as an office block and when it ceased to be one, it should have been introduced to a wrecking ball. When the shower curtain doesn't extend the full length of the bath, you know you are dealing with a bodge-job of a hotel. It explains the bubbling on the 1970s veneered bath panel, and possibly the cracked grout and sealant around most of the fittings. The bizarre smell in the room was probably also due to stagnant water in places where it should not have been. One iron per floor, located in cobwebbed cupboard at the end of a mildly threatening corridor illuminated by 20W bulbs is a particular mark of quality. They probably tried to refurbish the place once - possibly about 40 years ago. The lick of paint to spruce up the lift lobbies appears to have been applied not with a brush but with a bared elbow, such was the accuracy of its application. Half of the light switches in the room served no apparent function, and the windows were sufficiently filthy that light could barely penetrate. If this is your only option when staying round here, I'd advise against chancing it. This hotel belongs to a different time - one that has mercifully passed along with cholera and horse-drawn transport.

We chose this hotel as we were going to the Royal Albert Hall, we stayed only one night, quiet, comfortable and being on the 12th floor, spectacular view from room 1206….|We had breakfast when was a good choice of hot and cold food, we were looked after by, Tigist, who was very helpful to our requirements, nothing was too much trouble….

Coming for a short stay in London we stayed at the Premier Inn hotel, a well located hotel (proximity to transport and visits) and good value for money.Very comfortable bedding.Very pleasant, helpful and caring staff.Several stays at this hotel, to be recommended.

Perfect location for my stay, the hotel is a bit run down and shabby, but the welcome and helpfulness from Tigist was above and beyond. I was able to leave my luggage there as they had no availability for me to have an early check in. Lovely little bar area to have a quiet drink. My room was a twin room, very small and very stuffy as couldn’t open the windows, and the shower wasn’t that great. But I can’t complain too much as I was only there for a night. I would book here again if it was cheap enough, but wouldn’t pay more than £50 for this hotel.

Having recommended the Premier Inn for years to all my staff and friends after so many good experiences I was absolutely shocked to discover the Hotel's deterioration. It was like staying in a bad YMCA . …

We have stayed here a few times because of the location. 5 minutes walk from Ravenscourt Park tube (District Line), loads of restaurants shops and pubs nearby, not too far from the Lyric theatre and Eventim Apollo. …
