Very good location. Price is good for the area. Yes, the building is perhaps a bit tired and could do with TLC but my room was clean and tidy when I arrived. My two minor complaints is the noise from the road and only having one pillow (single room). Apart from that, can’t complain!

horrible hotel!!! do not stay here at all! Truly the worst and most disgusting place. The carpets smell like marijuana and it’s so LOUD. The walls are paper thin, they do not clean the rooms properly, and will not provide additional toilet paper, shampoo or anything throughout the whole stay. They do not have anyone at reception and will ghost you/not reply if you have any kind of issue

I have been to London numerous times and this hotel is the worst I have stayed in. On the morning of the day of arrival August 31st, via booking, the app with which I booked the hotel, I wrote that the room is located in the basement (something not noted when I selected the room during booking) and below were reported the directions to access it since the structure had no reception. We arrived at the hotel at 5pm and were surrounded by the smell of cannabis which our room neighbors were using heavily, but we ignored the fact because we were in a hurry to leave our luggage in the room and go out. Upon returning to the facility at 11pm, in addition to the smell of marijuana, there was also the smell of cigarettes which had also permeated our room. We then contacted the facility staff to point out the situation and point out that we had requested a non-smoking room since one of us suffers from asthma and instead we found ourselves in an unbreathable area. We therefore expressed the need to change the structure since we felt unsafe and did not know how the neighbors might react to the report we had exposed. We waited half past midnight for the arrival of the manager of the facility who, after having ascertained the presence of a smell, told us that he would make a few calls to check the availability of places in the other facility he owned and would come back to us. HE NEVER COME BACK! Through chat we were informed that the manager had not detected the smell of smoke, that their structure was equipped with sensors and that none of the guests present smoked and the only solution they could provide us was to move us from our room the next day (when before the upon arrival I asked if there was a room on another floor I was told that no, they were fully booked) and they could stay on the phone with us while we moved our luggage and that in any case they were always around the facility and checking the cameras. IT WAS NOT TRUE AT ALL! Otherwise they would have noticed that the next morning, September 1st, by check out time we left the facility in a hurry knowing that we would lose money by booking another one. We put booking into action immediately, opening a refund request to the hotel which was refused, and then writing to us in the afternoon that they would have accepted it if we had left the hotel at that moment. THE STAFF WAS VERY SMART SO THEY KEPT 2 PAID NIGHTS INSTEAD WE HAD BARRILY SPENT ONE IN THERE!Their incompetence in contacting booking to open the case was disarming, and they continued to order us to call booking on their behalf. Fortunately, at least on the part of the booking operators we found empathy and humanity, something that the hotel staff did not have.
