I stayed twice in the oldest and most beautiful part of the collage. These are student rooms with shared toilet and shower in the hallway. You immediately see that these are student rooms. The beds are very comfortable. The walls are very thin. You can hear the neighbors very well. The first room was very spacious and I would give it a 4.5, the second was smaller, but big enough. The second had the toilet and shower next to it. You lie in bed with your head next to the toilet bowl. You really hear every splash, drop, breeze and flush as if the toilet were in your room. I pulled the bed away, but it was not a solution.

Other reviewers have noted that this building is not on the Magdalen campus, but instead across the bridge, about a block or two away. The Sainsbury's market next door was convenient. …

We stayed for two nights in the Daubeny flats. Perfectly adequate and good sized. This is closer to a hostel experience than a hotel experience. Bed was American full size bed and quite comfortable. Pillows were not to our liking. …

A flat overlooking the Botanical gardens was spacious though somewhat studenty but was fine for our purposes. Central with lovely views, quiet. Breakfast in impressive College Hall was a plus. Better value than a central hotel. Much more exciting!

If you book through a website be careful, we were under the assumption we would be accommodated in the grounds of the college, instead we were in a run down 60’s block over Sainsbury’s supermarket. …

Not what we were expecting regarding the room, still it was like a flat, living room, kitchenette, and a big double bed, it also had the smallest shower we have ever seen, whatever you do don't drop the soap as you no room to bend down and …

This accommodation site is so misleading. You don't stay in the rounds of the college but in a grim building up the road. It's a basic student flat with the smallest double deb I have ever seen. In fact it's a slightly large single. …
