Hotel not recommended. Per€100 a day for two people is definitely too expensive. And you have to make your own breakfast and find the supplies yourself. Soluble coffee doesn't work at all. And afterwards you have to put the kitchen in order. In the description there was no mention of breakfast being self-made. The room was relatively clean but far too small for two people plus a miniature bathroom. Hallways and stairs rather unkempt. Many of the hotel's utensils such as paper roll holders, lights, switches, carpets, etc. are not in good condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Distance to the city center approx. 15 minutes on foot.

We would not recommend this hotel. Close to the centre of Maidenhead but this is the only thing that was good about it. Asked for a quiet room but was given room 2 which was right next to entrance/reception/kitchen so not quiet at all. Room was extremely hot. Unable to open any windows. There was a door to outside which was locked but due to security issues and a car that was parked inches away from the door we couldn't have had it open anyway. Bed was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. A free continental breakfast which you had to get yourself from the kitchen was offered when we booked the room but on arrival we were told that this was no longer an option. They said they could give us some breakfast items to eat in our room but this consisted of 2 slices of bread, a packet of crumpets, packet of pancakes, some cheap pre packed pastries, 2 small butters and some cheap juice. No jam for the bread and no knife to spread the butter but most stupid of all, no toaster!

The host was really rude and oppressive. He controlled the every single thing we were doing. We felt like in prison. Thanks god it was only one night stay. The bed was uncomfortable and very small. The breakfast very limited. …

Our stay was great! However, the washing machine and dryer were not working properly - clothes spent 6 hours in the dryer and still weren’t dry!!!! There is a room in the shed which people are in and out all night and the pillows weren’t great… In saying this, rooms were clean, breakfast was good and the location was great!
