We booked this hotel because of the photos of its Web site but when we arrived it was nothing like the restaurant and bar were closed the reception was nothing to look at and when we got to our room it was very disappointing cold and very old looking the bathroom was awful needs updating but as it was just for a couple of nights my husband decided we should stay the only thing it has going for it is the staff who were all polite and friendly but they should really change the Web page

The hotel is in a good position close to Bicester but it needs to update its web page the restaurant is closed and so is the bar our room is number5 good size TV but the actual room needs updating even though it has double glazing the outside windows are falling apart and one of them has pane of glass missing and the wood surround is rotten and the bathroom needs attention and modernising good Wi-Fi heating has not been turned on yet the staff are friendly breakfast is included and is a continental one the Hotel is pet friendly the daily charge for a dog is £20 if the correct attention and work is done to the hotel I think it would be a great little place to stay but it needs more than a lick of paint would I stay here again yes when the place has been a bit more modernised and the restaurant and bar are reopen the nearest pub is about a 6 minutes drive one of the residents that we spoke to had pizzas delivered to them at the hotel.

A comfortable stay in a reasonably priced room. An ideal stopover, or base for exploring the Cotswolds.
