Clean and tidy room, with buses stopping right outside to take you into town, although this is a 20 minute stroll.|Quiet, and well priced, with a convenience store across the road, and a decent pub a few minutes away. Friendly couple running the establishment, and free parking.

Family run, clean, affordable. Located on bus lines but also has parking. Bathroom was a bit small, but room was large enough to be comfortable, with big windows and a sofa. Breakfast is self-catering, costs a bit extra but was healthy and quite decent, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, toast or pastries.

Really enjoyed our stay at Green Gables. Lovely and spacious room, very clean. The bus stop at the front takes you right into the city centre and buses are very regular and easy to use. The host was lovely and very accommodating, and gave us lots of tips for our stay. Highly recommend.

A simple and nice B&B to stay to visit Oxford. Rooms are small, but clean and functional. Staff is super nice and friendly. They waited for us even if we arrived 1h after the allowed check-in time. easily connected to the city center by bus.Good value for money given the standard prices in Oxford.Continental breakfast is available but with limited options. No hot servings (no scrambled eggs, sausages or similar) apart from toast.

This review is a few yrs late. But it took me this long to get the courage to write it. The owners were hardworking Indian family. I loved the simplicity of it. It was clean and the breakfast was superb. The owner, always sat us in the most awkward and uncomfortable area for breakfast. It was 3 of us and she made us sit facing a white wall inside the kitchen. First day, I didn’t say anything since we didn’t have reservations. 2nd day i asked if we could get seated with others in the main dining room. She said no you don’t have reservations. The 3rd day the place was empty and i had reservations. She still tried to take us to that god awful place. I said i have reservations and there is no one here. She said it’s only 3 of u and these tables are for 4 people. The fourth day we entered the dining room and i see a family of 3 sitting in the main dinner room. I lost it. I said why are they sitting here when you specifically told me that my husband, son and I can’t sit in the main dining room? I cried for a week. You tell me what could have happened? We were guests at their motel. We have darker complexions than all the Europeans that were guests there. That’s the only thing i felt she found wrong with us. That was 7 years ago. I haven’t felt like a 2nd class human until then or ever since.

Walking distance to town centre, buses just outside, a convenient Tesco Express on the corner. Room was spacious and quiet facing the garden. Bathroom was very basic. Friendly man host. Sadly only Continental breakfast basic, no eggs😩.
