We stayed in one of the lovely Rooms in the Mews Cottages. It was a nicely laid out room, very peaceful & quiet. The shower was nicely hot & powerful and the bathroom in general was very clean (although the shower cubicle did leak). The TV worked well once we got the hang of it (don't choose a channel via the guide, choose it via the icons from the Eastwell info page). All in all a lovely stay.

At a cost of nearly £200 per night to stay, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. On arrival we were clearly not important enough for the staff members to stop their conversation to greet us. Once he acknowledged us, Tommy was helpful and friendly, explaining everything we needed to know about our stay. We ask for a cheeky upgrade but were told they were fully booked. We found our way to our cottage and then to our room. The room was SO small! Dirt on the floor and window sill, flies and spiders all over the ceiling, a huge dirty mark on the back of the bathroom door and a TV that was useless! No channels to watch, the smart facility had been disabled, basically just a glorified radio. There was also a gap in the window frame where they were so damaged. The bed however was very comfortable and the toiletries provided were of good quality. We slept well, it was quiet through the night.Breakfast the next morning was a total shambles! Too many people, not enough staff and not enough food! One staff member was rushing around in such a flap she was like an accident waiting to happen! Totally put us off. We were seated and then ignored! Hot food took a long time to arrive and most of it was poorly cooked and some even inedible! The cold buffet was of great variety and mostly delicious. On asking to talk to a manager I was fobbed off with 'she's not here right now, have her business card'. Other guests were also told the same having had a similar experience to us. They added service charge on to everything, even room service to bring us 2 drinks (£30) and a correct size robe. We asked for this to be removed!Don't bother staying here, it is a total waste of money!!

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and very well looked after. Unfortunately, the cottages were a disappointing experience. We had two rooms and they were very small and dated. There is only a shower, no bath. The radiator in our room was rusty and the windows looked like they were falling apart.

Highly recommend for a relaxing spa break or stay. Manor was beautiful, mews were lovely and facilities and spa excellent, all the staff from front of house to bar staff and spa staff were absolutely lovely, apart from one obnoxious spa staff, but you always get one I suppose. She didn't affect my break though as the place was amazing. Food was beautiful in both restaurants, shame just not a little more selection in the brasserie for dinner. There are little silly little things I could say but it really isn't worth it. The place was amazing and I will definitely go back. As above, I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely break away from it all, you feel miles away from anywhere. Setting and grounds beautiful and quiet. Just want to say thank you to all the staff that make you feel looked after and nothing is to much trouble. Also the cocktails were lovely. Wished I could have stay longer, next time I book i will definitely.

Stayed in the mews for the first time. Very clean and modern rooms with all of the expected facilities. A short walk to the spa and slightly further to the main house. Beautiful grounds.

Paper thin walls with no sound insulation! Please note, Eastwell Manor is amazing, this review is specifically rated for the Mews Cottages. We've stayed in the main house before with no issues and would recommend it.The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in, cupboard doors getting in the way of being able to move around the bed etc, but other than that average facilities so no major problems.However... the walls in the Mews Cottages are paper thin, and the windows single glazed. We stayed in December 2021 and the room was very warm, so weren't too worried about the windows, but the following morning (Sunday) we were woken at 7:30 by the porters dragging metal trollies of laundry around outside. There was no getting away from the rattling noise. But by far the biggest issue was the neighbouring rooms. You can hear EVERYTHING. We were away for my wife's birthday weekend and there was a wedding that night. We were woken by the other guests coming back to their rooms, and then kept awake by them talking for a couple of hours. I need to stress here, they were not being loud or rude, they were just talking about their great day, so complaining they were being noisy isn't fair, it was just the fact the walls blocked none of the noise meant we may as well have been sharing a room.We complained when we checked out about the noise (and also the ridiculously small print on the menus which we could barely read, I'm only 44, I'm not blind yet, as well as the Spa having issue with the pool temperature that weekend meaning you couldn't really enjoy the swim) and got £70 back.Even with refunds and apologies, I would never stay in the Mews again regardless of room price. It really needs an overhaul to get some privacy and the possibility of sleep!Hate posting bad reviews, but feel this is a must

We had no water no flushing toilet no hand washing and no information in the hotel during the whole time we were at Eastwell Manor. We had no reduction in our bill or on the room Rate . We have emailed the general manager and had no reply. Very poorly managed! Things happen but we feel we were treated badly. We are very un happy.
