After reading the reviews online previously we was a little worried about what we was going to find on arrival. We got to the cabin at around 5pm and found the cabin easily, we went in and it was actually a lot nicer than people had made out. The place was clean and tidy, the room had a full size double bed, with mattress topper and clean bedding, a TV, kettle, toaster and microwave as described. We had also been provided with clean towels, however there wasn’t any need for a towel as the room had NO hot water AT ALL! We tried everything the poster on the wall said but could not get any hot water, so had to boil a kettle to get hot water. The location was lovely, it didn’t have beautiful 360 views, but the views from some positions were great, and it was a short walk to the lovely nature trails and local pubs. All in all for just over £50 per night, it was dry, clean and had electricity, more than some places I have been for more money, however myself and my partner had a lovely evening and would return again if it had hot water, we would possibly try the barn next time.

Only 1 star as not allowed to review as 0 stars! Absolutely shocking!! It's a SHED! They can call it a 'Cabin' as much as they like, but it (cabin 2) is no more than a 12x8 SHED, and a very poor condition one at that! We booked B&B and all we got for breakfast for 3 days was a single shop bought (small) croissant and a small (child size) bottle of milk.... That was it between 2 of us for 3 days in total, not even each day!!!!! We had to go and get a loaf of bread and some butter and use the small toaster in the SHED! which we had to turn over and do in 2 parts because the bread was twice the size of the toaster. The door doesn't fit in the hole and there are huge gaps around it compromising both privacy and any kind of warmth that you might hope for from the small portable radiator in the shed. I had to stuff blue roll into the gaps to try to keep some of the freezing cold out but it did not work very well. We had 2 suitcases and had to put one flat in the shower to be able to move around in what space was left. There is NO hot water for washing your hands after using the toilet etc. There is a small fridge supplied, but there is also a large hole in the floor by it which also contributed to the cold inside. The shower had an extractor which when switched off just left a gaping pass-through for yet more cold air to come in as well. Please see the accompanying photos, I think they say more than enough!

LOUD road noise. Poor communication with property. It came with breakfast but a sign said to walk to some cafe? Not open until 9am as far as i could make out ( I was gone for 830am).Poor address details. Low quality. Really cold. On the plus side, it was clean.

I wasn’t expecting to find a palace but this really was just a shed. The bathroom stunk of stale wee and the shower was disgusting. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and gave me a back ache. The sockets were in a dangerous condition. There was what looked like a mouse hole near the kitchen end of the shed. We were promised breakfast in the booking and all we got was a quarter pint of milk. The proprietor was uncontactable.
