The 1st challenge facing us was finding our room, which took about 10 minutes. Throughout the property, we could smell cigarettes and cannabis. …

I arrived in Folkestone 2 months ago and Dino and Thelma and my housemates really went out of their way to make me feel settled.5 minute walk to Sunny Sands beach ⛱️ and parking for a car I hardly use because everything is in walking distance.Such a lovely concept. I have an ensuite, fridge, freezer microwave, and then do my laundry and cooking in the well equipped general areas. It's perfect for transitions and contract workers.

After being booked for a £102 a night by booking.com in mid August, when I arrived my room had been changed to a box room where I could touch the toilet seat from the bed. Images of the property online are completely misleading. …

My children and I were the first guests to stay at the newly refurbished Lennard House and we really enjoyed our stay. The owners have worked very hard to raise the standard of the hotel and the results were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the spacious en suite was great. The location is fantastic too, close enough to the town and harbour yet quiet at night when you want to sleep. When in Folkestone I will only stay here now.

I needed accommodation for a family member at short notice and the staff and management at the hotel were very helpful. The facilities are fine for the price. The staff showed kindness and concern to my family at a time of great stress.

Booked a long weekend for a paddle boarding break. Clearly the hotel has recently undergone a refit and everything was nice and clean/fresh and new looking. A great price and fab location with very friendly staff. Will definitely use again.

We stayed at Lennard house in August 2020 and it was probably one of the best holidays we ever had. Since it was a bit risky to travel abroad and we needed some vitamin sea we went to Folkestone. …

This place isn't a hotel, it's a hostel at the most. No check in desk, no staff to be seen. I was shown to my room by a tennet who rents a room at the address. The room was absolutely filthy, I do hate to say it but I have to be honest. I literally couldn't get the smell of garlic out of my clothes and had to throw them away. I had to use most of my clothes to make a make shift bed as the bedding stunk and hadn't obviously been changed. They don't deserve any star, the audacity of this make shift hotel to charge me 100 pounds a night is disgusting. STAY AWAY.

Great location, very close to the harbor, food shops and pubs. Also, very easy access to Dover and Channel Crossing for a day trip to France or Belgium. Parking is also ample. Would recommend 100% and I will definitely be visiting again.
