This hotel is no longer part of Best Western. We were warmly greeted on arrival and checked in, our room was clean and looked newly refurbished, the shower was easy to adjust and the towels large and fluffy, tea ,coffee and mugs in the room …

Staying here is a bit like turning back the clock and I liked it a lot. The historic building and decoration will not be to everyones taste, but much is in keeping with the style and period of the surroundings. …

Do not stay here.Yes, it’s in a central location, but that is all it has got going for it at the moment.Rooms very outdated and tatty. Bed extremely uncomfortable - fortunately I stayed in the height of summer and eventually fell asleep on top of the quilt doubled over! Curtains torn and fire escape door had a huge hole in it - these were just a couple of the issues.I will say the staff were very nice that I dealt with.It needs to be shut while it’s being restored. I filed a complaint (I sent 3 emails), none of which were even acknowledged by Mr Khalid.

The only thing I can say about this place is that it should be closed down it was that bad...||I booked a double room stay in as I had a function to attend locally.||The staff were fine but they are fighting a losing battle. …

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, in the UK and abroad. The foul smell on entering the hotel reception was horrific. Clearly this hotel is being deliberately run into the ground. …

Stayed here for 1 night. The staff are actually very polite. The hotel needs to be shut down for about a year and redecorated. Its the worse place I have ever stayed, it is completely run down. The breakfast was appalling. We have stayed here in the past and it was quite nice, very disappointed.

I really wish I'd read the reviews of this dump before we booked and I would urge anyone thinking about staying there to give it a very wide birth. …

The Rose & Crown is well located in the centre of Tonbridge, giving Best Western the opportunity to highlight its close working team ethic and decent breakfast to all overnight, weekend, or longer residents. …
