Fabulous campsite with stunning views and beautiful sunsets. Very quiet & relaxed. Facilities are perfect, fully functional and spotlessly clean. Wood supplies for fire pits are available on site. We will definitely be back for the fledging Glassenbury Festival we decided we should hold there!

A great campsite with a wonderful view over the rolling hills. The compost loo, shower and all other facilities were great, well kept and always clean. Raf was often on hand for log deliveries and help. I walked to Sissinghurst from the campsite (1.5hrs each way) and visited Water Lane which were both great and not too far away.

OUR NEW FAVOURITE CAMPSITE.Glassenbury camping exceeded our expectations in absolutely every way. There is a reason why it has all these 5* reviews.Firstly - it ticked the box for us in terms of having stunning views. So many campsites refer to having a view and when we get there we struggle to get a spot with a nice view. Here, due to the positioning of the field, wherever you go you have a sense of the hills / valley and it’s absolutely beautiful.Secondly, the campsite is extremely well maintained and you can tell for Raf and Maria it is a passion and not simply a money maker. The showers and toilets have a rustic charm but in a high end sort of way. Everything you need is provided, and I never encountered anything looking less than perfect. We actually had the pleasure of speaking to Raf and you can immeadiately see the love for the campsite and his appreciation for all the positive feedback. He even brought us a futon for our last night when our airbed blew!!The campsite was also incredibly spacious and peaceful compared to any we have been do - and this was a bank holiday! They cap their capacity at quite a low number relative to the square footage so you can always find plenty of privacy and space. We don’t usually return to campsites as we like to try something new each time - but we firmly believe we have now found our first regular place to go.Trust the reviews, give this relatively new campsite a go - you really won’t regret it.

I stopped in on the first of three nights cycling. I would definitely go again. It's scenic, spacious, with great facilities. I really appreciated the low-impact approach to everything (toilets, showers, washing up), and wish more campsites would do this. There were a plenty of other campers there but everyone was considerate (no late-night music). Many thanks Glassenbury Camping!

Our group stayed at Glassenbury Camping Site over the bank holiday weekend, and it was such an incredible experience. The site offers stunning views and a peaceful, spacious location that provided the perfect escape. The eco-friendly facilities were impressive, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Everything was very well maintained, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hosts, Raf and Maria, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. They truly love what they do, which was evident in the way they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. When our mattress unexpectedly blew out, they kindly lent us their futon. We also hired a fire pit and purchased firewood from them, adding a lovely touch to our evenings.Conveniently located near beautiful National Trust sites, gardens, scenic walks, and charming villages, there was plenty to explore. We would definitely return to Glassenbury Camping Site and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque camping experience.

We stayed here over the Bank holiday weekend. The site has beautiful views and there was plenty of space and privacy. The facilities are really well maintained, and the showers had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Our blowup mattress burst in n the last night and the air went was kind enough to help us out. We had a great time and would definitely return!

This was one of the most wonderful campsites we’ve been to in years! I haven’t had such a view while washing the dishes ever. The view was stunning, lovely owners and good company (if we had any…during the week we we had the site nearly to ourselves). The showers are great, just warm enough and plenty of room. The site is ecofriendly, which means composttoilets, but if used properly they have no odour and work perfectly. We planned to eat out during out stay, but always ended up cooking by the tent 😊. There’s so much to do in the area as well. It really is a slice of heaven.

Our first time camping as a family in this beautiful field with a view looking down the hill to the horizon in the west for sunset. Amazing for young kids, we took a 4 year old and a 9 week old which we had some anxiety about but they had the best time and slept great. Super friendly owners who really make you feel welcome, free fire pit and clean facilities. It's the day after and we all want to go camping again already...

This is the second time camping at Glassenbury. The first was while we were pregnant and the second was with our nearly 3 year old. It's such a beautiful spot. The views are epic. They keep the head count super low, so there's space and privacy but still a nice vibe from other campers. The facilities are well laid out and thought through. Just over an hour out of London, who could want foe more. We'll be back!
