Comfortable room and excellent breakfast with friendly and helpful owners. We had a bedroom on the top floor overlooking the coast (steep stairs if that would concern you). Happy to accommodate our bikes. Quiet location. In the centre of the village a short walk from all that Porlock has to offer

We enjoyed a two day visit and couldn’t fault the friendly, efficient service - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. We brought our little dog with us and he was also made very welcome.

A perfect stay in a lovely hotel. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming. They are refreshingly pet friendly, so our doggy felt as welcome as we did. Our room was lovely and clean well and equipped. …

We were staying in a nearby hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant of the Lorna Doone hotel on our last evening in Porlock. The food was so good, we wished we'd eaten there for the duration of our visit. …
