What an excellent hotel this is! Very clean rooms, nice view over the beach, good food! Very welcoming to our dog, who got a sausage every morning at breakfast. We appreciate the social aspect of the hotel in providing a training place for people.

Lovely room, fluffy towels and a fab bath! Breakfast was gorgeous and plentiful, staff friendly and excellent location right on the beach front. Parking on site and really quiet at night, such a lovely little stay, thank you! Bar and coffee available plus nice cakes.

Had a great stay at the Beach Hotel. We were doing the first day of the south west coast path and the location was perfect for that. We couldn’t get into the car park as it was full, but we found free on-road parking very close by. …

First, the 5*s. 1. The staff are all fabulous, so helpful, cheerful, nothing too much trouble. 2. The food is good . My husband had the steak and ale pie and the chunks of meat in it were so tender, and it was full of meat.  …

We first dropped in for coffee and cake. The welcome and service was outstanding and the home made cakes scrumptious. We returned for lunch the next day. The food was served speedily, it was piping hot and the fish pie was amazing. Again, the service, from different staff, was friendly and efficient.|Highly recommended.

Excellent location right across from the beach. We had a seaview room, very large and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Staff very friendly and always smiling, nothing too much trouble. Could do with grab rails on bath as slippery when getting out. Otherwise perfect.

This hotel is the quintessential country hotel. Friendly. Rooms are good. Comes with what you need. There's a bar and a restaurant that does a great breakfast. It was about noisy outside until about 10.30pm. In summer you'll need the window open. My room had a great bay view.

I visited the restaurant at The Beach Hotel with my son over the weekend. He has some severe allergies and rarely gets to eat away from home. The staff were absolutely wonderful and ensured he was safe and happy the whole time. The chef prepared him a meal separately to ensure it was safe. Both the lovely woman who served us and the chef came over to ensure we were doing ok and he was happy. It made his day. Thank you. This was the weekend of the 20th July, the woman with the roman army tattoo and the chef with a marvellous moustache are absolute heroes.
