I had arranged to go for a few days away with my Brother and his girlfriend, this would not have been the type of hotel I would usually have chosen but I'm glad we did, I was pleasantly surprised. …

Just had the one night stay but was a really nice hotel. Room a little small along with the bathroom but wasn't expecting The Ritz tbh. Breakfast was lovely, service very good too.  …

This is a typical 2* hotel, rooms are clean but tired. Things not screwed to the wall and very loose as like the toilet roll holder, the towel radiator, etc. In saying that the staff are very friendly and welcoming, there service is good, the food is very good and plentiful no skimping here. It's clean and tidy. Rooms are made up.

Very poor experience overall. Location is very good, but despite having a prime spot, the hotel itself is shockingly poor. …

First time we have stayed at this hotel so didn't know what to expect. We arrived a bit early but our room was ready. All the staff were wonderful. Our room was beautiful and clean and we had a fantastic view of the pier beach and sea. Will definitely go back again.

Wasn't going to review this hotel for our one night stay because the beer at the bar and room were only OK, but then I had the breakfast! It was definitely five star, with poached eggs ready and waiting, great bacon and a super black pudding . . . .
