I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, always greeting me with a warm smile. She took the time to explain everything in detail, addressing every question I had with patience and genuine enthusiasm. It was clear that she was deeply committed to ensuring I had a pleasant stay and understood everything thoroughly. The girl who served my breakfast was equally kind and helpful, making my dining experience just as enjoyable. It’s wonderful to see such a superb team of people working together. It would be fantastic if every place had staff as dedicated as these girls.

Very disappointed. Spent £190 for 1 night, birthday gift. Twin room in annex very compact, limited refreshment, cold. Very limited menu in restaurant and fish overcooked. Staff were lovely and very attentive, they can't be faulted. Lovely setting with the water wheel and river. Very overpriced, car park £10 on hotel site and then they take a further £30 which you can get refunded back 7-10 days later. Sorry cannot recommend.

Excellent service from the reception staff, very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was good, although friendly, the service was slow.Rooms in the Annex need some TLC. Very basic for the price and could do with some aircon to sort out the air quality.Location was good for a walk into Bath (1 hour on the canal), 15 minutes by bus or car.Parking on site for a day is £10, which is advertised upfront, although I think should be free for hotel guests.

The rooms were nice, the last at the front desk very helpful and the bus stop to get in and out of Bath close by. Breakfast was great. The dinner options were a little lacking so I would go over the toll bridge for evening meal

Great hotel, was much better than we thought. Location is beautiful, our room was nice. Hot water didn't work the morning we left as they had an issue but these things happen, shower was lovely when it did work prior!Breakfast was delicious, bar and outside area next to the river was also lovely. Will definitely come back.

The setting of this little hotel is so quaint and beautiful. The view from my room was of sheep in a field, a lazy river, and an old massive water wheel. It was absolutely picturesque and what you think of when you dream of the English countryside. The rooms are completely modern and very well appointed. I would definitely stay here again. The Italian restaurant downstairs is also quite good.

Lovely room, very warm, but a fan provided, we really enjoyed it here. Shower worked well, all very clean. Convenient to get into Bath, will stay here again! Easy to avoid the Toll Bridge by the side of the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast though it did look nice,
