Very quaint little place, pods are tastefully furnished and very relaxing for a getaway.Fossils nearby if you got for a stroll on the beach or a railway if you want to explore. We went to the tavern down the road for a few beers and the fish and chip shop next door.Very nice and would stay again.

Great building on the harbour with arty summer activities for children. Exhibitions, shop and very good cafe/ restaurant.Loved the working paper making hall with beautiful paper to purchase. Also a number of small local artists studios to browse and buy from. Very interesting.Noticed that there were pods to rent also.Plus lots of info boards outside around the quay .

A really surprising find - bold architecture, amazing range of talented artists, workshops for developing art 🎨 skills and a bookstore / coffee shop. Well worth a visit whether you are an art fan or not. (Didn't see the amazing top floor accommodation)

What an amazing place, great gallery - very well curated works. The café is excellent, food was great quality and well priced. Stayed in a pod - what a lovely experience: everything clean and beautifully designed. Fab stuff! Watchet is lovely, with some great pubs for local beer and cider - dramatic beaches

Visited with my daughter on the off chance that the cafe would be good - the food was fab albeit a bit expensive but the place was packed and everybody seem to be having a lovely time. They run some fabulous courses for people of all ages and the access is good.

Lovely place to stay, and a great location. Staff and food were all really top-notch and it was really nice to stay in the pods. The surrounding area is also really beautiful and this "modern" building is tucked away so as to not affect the more traditional coastal scenery. Great walks to local food and beaches as well. The papermakers are also a must-see!As a non-British tourist I really loved it!Just wanted to add that the EV charging spot nearby doesn't work, which was a hassle.

An explosion of culture and a lovrly place to just be, eat and contemplate.Popped here on a balmy sunny evening with my 2 young boys. We only spent time in the cafe (which was great with mezze type food and amazing hot chocolates!).I love the shipping container architecture.I love the location on the harbour with views over the channel, I love the journeys that can start and end here from coastal walks, perusing around the esplanade, trips to sea or a steam railway journey.I love the relaxed atmosphere.I love the concept.I love the signage and documentation of the history of the local area.I especially love the support this place provides to creativity, to the alternative, to thinking and to the arts - enabling you to see, hear and feel different elements of the human experience but also to take part and get involved in creation. You can even stay here overnight in the unique pods. From young to old, East Quay has so much to offer.I think its a fantastic addition to the lovely area of Watchet. The locals are as lucky to have this place as much as visitors. Please visit. Please support and enjoy.
