I recently traveled with my brother and my father, who uses a wheelchair, and we stayed at The Bristol Hotel. Our experience was absolutely outstanding. The hotel's location is fantastic—very central, with plenty of restaurants, activities, and a train station all within easy reach. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and our charming room comfortably accommodated the three of us. The accessible bathroom was spacious and equipped with all the necessary features, like grab bars and a shower chair. One significant advantage was the large parking lot next to the hotel, which includes side access and a covered parking area. This made it much easier for my father (and his wheelchair) to get in and out without getting wet.The standout aspect of our stay was the exceptional service from the staff. They were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire process, even before our arrival, answering all our questions and kindly fulfilling our requests with genuine generosity.I also highly recommend the breakfast, which is not only extensive and delicious but is served in a charming restaurant with a lovely view of the pier.We will definitely return to Bristol and stay here again!

Recently stayed for 3 nights. Room was a good size and comfy bedding, but the bathroom was very small. Toilet seat was nearly falling off when we went to the room. It just needed tightening which I did myself, however surely Housekeeping should of had this sorted before the room was allocated to us. Also for the price I think a couple of bottles of water would be a nice addition. All staff were friendly and accommodating and in general the room was clean and tidy. Excellent location. Could so easily of been a 5 Star rating with just a couple of extra touches. However will be looking to book again soon.

When checking in to The Bristol Hotel I had a lot of pleasant surprises when seeing the rooms. The room I was given had a great bed-to-room ratio. So, I could comfortably walk around the bed not have to walk sideways. I enjoyed the Breakfast too.

The hotel is right on the harbour which is a great location to be.My room was OK, I had a large room and it was clean so I can't complain and the staff were helpful. The negative side was the bathroom which was very small and felt old. Bathrooms should be renovated in my view.Since the hotel is in the UK a special note shall be made on the pressure of the shower which was not very powerful but sufficient.Had an issue with the towels. We were two in the room but towels were changed only for 1 person. I had to call almost every day to ask an extra set and the amenities which were missing.Breakfast was OK and there was enough choice.

A fantastic hotel in an amazing location. After a VERY long journey from Dubai, the reception team, especially the wonderful Aurora were so accommodating and although our room was not yet ready she did all she could to get us sorted asap. The team also were so kind and received a parcel for me in advance of my arrival which was mega appreciated. We got a 2-4-1 voucher for cocktails at Ricks and the lovely John was so friendly and helpful - he even checked on our room status for us. Thank you John! Finally after getting into our lovely spacious and clean room we had a knock at the door with a lovely branded bar of chocolate with a hand written card from the guest relations team. Great touch!!!People make a hotel and the staff here have been so magical. Could not recommend enough and we will be back soon - thank you team Bristol

I recently stayed at The Bristol for a course. The staff were really friendly and the hotel has charm and character, which I loved. However my room was near the walkway to the other side of the harbour and as it was Friday night it was very noisy.I was surprised that the windows did not fully block out the noise as this is crucial for a good night's sleep (for many people). Please can this be looked at as I don't know if it is an issue with just this room or other as well. All in all though I would say I'd come back to the hotel as parking is convenient too!

With lose plug sockets, cramped bathroom and very "mean" courtesy tray offering, the massive floor space but restricted wardrobe and no chest of draws, this is NOT what I called 4*. Breakfast service was shambolic at best. I counted 8 couples/ groups having to eat breakfast off their knees in reception because they had no space in the breakfast area! Really? Travel lodge would be disappointed by this . Staff were great just lacked leadership. Won't bother again.

Excellent location to be at the heart of this vibrant city with too many bars, restaurants and entertainment venues to pick from. The hotel itself was brilliant from the time we checked in to the time we waved goodbye after booking another trip. Breakfast was superb with everything for all dietary requirements. A must stay at a reasonable price.

Great location, first class service and easy parking. Clean with a lively bar and nice dining area.Bedroom was on the smaller side (queen deluxe) but the air con worked and the bed was very comfortable. It was a little on the pricey side but for whatever reason most hotels are these days!

The hotel has a great location with comfortable beds and parking options right next to it. The staff are nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean, but the furniture and carpets are quite worn out. The hotel has a strong scent throughout, which I personally didn’t like (possibly due to air quality concerns?). It's dog-friendly, and our dog loved the dog bed and treats provided.
