We just had another excellent weekend at the Hayloft B&B. Jane always makes us feel so welcome and her breakfasts are excellent and adjusted to taste and dietary needs without any fuss. We love staying at the Hayloft and Hartington is a perfect base for our walks. We will certainly be back.

Jane and John are exemplar ambassadors for upland farming. We booked all four rooms in their converted barn to spend a few days with our children and show our grandchildren what happens on a farm at lambing time. …

Just back from another trip to Derbyshire with a 3 night stay at Hayloft.||As good as ever. Good breakfasts with locally sourced food items. Comfortable room.||Abundant hot water for showers.||Wifi a bit flaky but signal stronger outside and nearer farmhouse.

My wife and I stayed in The Hayloft over the May Bank Holiday. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Jane all the time we were there. OK, there was no wi-fi but in a delightful village nestling in the valley, that is to be expected and lovely to have an enforced absence from the wretched bits of kit that take over our lives!
