The guest house was clean with a very friendly host. Couldn't access until after 5pm which wasn't great!! However breakfast was another matter, the "fresh" fruit was the choice of brown banana's, dried out satsumas or a singular apple. …

A superb Bed and Breakfast experience. A delightful period home spotlessly clean and with so many original features. Great location for visiting Buxton and the Derbyshire Dales. The hosts are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The room was both comfortable and delightful, spacious, with delicious homemade cookies and a selection of teas, environmentally friendly toiletries and a recycle bin. The self service breakfast was very extensive! Highly recommended!

I booked this last minute because my Old camper van wasn’t quite Road worthy and I wantedsomewhere near Clover Caravan and Camping site where my family were staying. The single room was beautiful and cosy and I had the uses of a large bathroom with separate shower cubicle and large bath which I enjoyed very much. Philippa was very welcoming, kind and thoughtful, the breakfast she made was delicious and being a vegetarian I had a great choice.I can highly recommend this place, the house is stunning, family warm, food lovely, Philippa a lovely warm host thank you for my stay over the last couple of nights ☺️

My wife and I stayed four nights in this lovely B&B and were very well looked after. The warmth of the welcome, the room and the breakfast were all excellent. We would seriously consider staying here again if the opportunity arose.

We stayed in the double room at Hilbre for an old friends reunion a couple of weeks ago. Most others were staying at the Premier Inn just around the corner, but we definitely had the better option! …
