We have just spent a lovely 2 night stay at Parsons. No WiFi (by choice) the owners were absolutely lovely and after a long night for me being poorly after eating out they couldn't be more accommodating to make sure I was OK and had what I needed. Can't thank you both enough for everything. It's definitely what we needed

What an amazing, chilled place to stay! Just 2 rooms, beautifully decorated, with lots of little extra touches to make your stay easy and comfortable. David is a great host, making sure you have everything you need, cups of tea offered whenever you come in - even left outside your door in the morning before breakfast, which by the way is plentiful and cooked to perfection. Really loved staying here.

Fabulous stay. Scrummy breakfast. Choice of whatever combination of cooked bits you wanted. Lovely toast. Homemade quince jam! Breakfast trifle (healthy!) yumyumyum! Felt so looked after. David was so thoughtful & caring & hospitable. Pot of tea on arrival (with biccies!) & fresh coffee brought to your door before breakfast. Definitely recommend if you want that real homely experience. Hartington is a best village, so B&B is great location for walks. But what makes it special is how you are looked after! (Rooms are lovely, comfy, clean & quirky!) Thanks David. You made our stay so special & memorable.Tina & Paul

David is lovely. And love his home. He is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious- compote, cooked breakfast- so good. David is very close to both pubs. Bookings are essential! The Devonshire was very tasty but be prepared to wait, even when booked. I feel for the pubs- short staffed.
