Very good.Beds Very comfortable. Carpets in my room weren't great but I know they are doing refurbishment. Once all rooms fully refurbished I would give 5* for the price I paid.Friendly staff too.Lovely pub/restaurant across the road called "The farmhouse". All round Very comfortable stay.

One of the worst and certainly the weirdest ‘hotels’ I have ever stayed in. The rooms look great on the photos but then so do so many. In reality the room was adequate. The bed looked good but in reality was desperately in need of a new mattress - very saggy and uncomfortable. The rooms were only cleaned once a week which is weird in itself and even that didn’t happen. Tea, coffee, milk, towels, toilet paper were not replenished. The heating didn’t work & it was colder in the room than outside. One positive was a fridge in the room but that didn’t balance out the negatives. Finally, there seemed to be lots of dubious looking ‘guests’ hanging around, not the sort you get in proper hotels, including the noisy annoying woman with her many loud phone calls & occasional visitors (one of whom inadvertently knocked on my door late at night ) it was my misfortune to have next door. She evidently either couldn’t read or more likely couldn’t care about the notices to keep the noise down. As every one of these guests seemed to smoke fiendishly they spent many hours lurking outside and I was also subjected to the delights of a couple fiercely arguing outside my window. Rather than a hotel it was sometimes reminiscent of a ‘sink’ council estate.Naturally the pub next door which apparently once supplied breakfast was closed and appeared on the way to becoming dilapidated, I think it might not be long before the ‘hotel’ joins it.

I would stay away from this hotel I booked 2 triple rooms in aug 2023 for October 2023 for only them to cancel them without me asking and selling on the rooms over night apparently I wouldn’t of been too bothered but I booked the rooms for …

Conveniently the same situation as David’s review from a month ago, we’re getting married in the area this week and 4 days before they cancel a bunch of our guests rooms, some due to a ‘leak’ and some due to the rooms not being paid for - but they’re pay on arrival!? Absolute joke of a business

Stayed last week and despite being August the place smelled of DAMP. Also not very clean - mould around the bath and waste bins not emptied - contained 2 (used) disposable razors. Not cheap either at £80 for a single person and NO BREAKFAST available. You can also hear the road from the lower room numbers. Lots of spiders too!

I booked this hotel ,6 months before our stay and 3 days before our stay they cancelled. They stated that they would pay the extra cost because the hotel was near our wedding venue. They never replied to my emails when I asked them . I would not recommend this hotel. They are a let down

Booked to stay At Tyger Inn, 6 months before we wanted to stay here. 3 days before , they cancelled our room, saying they had a leak. I do not believe this to be the truth. I would not recommend booking this hotel.
