Great site. The owner doesn’t pack them in, so it makes for a quiet spot. Close to Monsal Head, and Bakewell. Mostly flat, with hookup. Facilities clean and plentiful.

I chose to stay at this campsite as it was close to Bakewell.The site a great location being close to Monsel Head & access to the trail, with Bakewell just a few miles down the road.The owners were very accommodating & friendly.The site it self is lovely, clean & tidy.As were the facilities.The only downside is the lack of washing up facilities, which isn't a problem if you're self sufficient or prepared.I would use the site again.

Lovely little campsite, clean toilet/shower block .Although only 1 toilet and shower there was never a queue. Campsite owners were friendly and welcoming. Great views and great location to monsal trail or bakewell. Will definitely visit again

Very friendly and polite greeting, and the site has the basics and is very clean. £10 per night per person camping, and the showers are £1 for 5 minutes. Dish wash is cold water only unfortunately, but only a minor issue. Perfect location for monsal dale, lathkill dale, Bakewell and Chatsworth, and for walking and cycling. I'll be back again soon with my bicycle.

Owner very polite and friendly great location toilet facility’s very clean stayed 3 nights without hookup will defo go again ideal for walkers/ cyclists or just to chill.

Stayed for a few nights last week.Can not fault it. Peter is so welcoming and helpful and friendly. Perfect location for Monsal Head. Lovely pub just up the road. Toilets and Shower clean and tidy. Lovely field with great views. Short ride into Bakewell. Throughly enjoyed it and would return. Thank you.

Good location. BUT... The prices are extortionate considering the facilities (or lackthereof) available.£10 per person per night in a tent, in a field with no other facilities. No hot water for pot washing, 1 toilet. No electricity. Honestly, for the £10 we paid, there were almost no expenses on their part. And then they asked for money to use the showers for 5 minutes. The price is the same for a caravan as it is for a tent, which is just baffling.(The pubs down the road are well worth it so you don't need to spend your whole stay thinking about what you're missing out on)

Fantastic hidden gem, electric hook up, clean and well kept, hot showers, washing up space and recycling all available on site. So quiet and peaceful. Great spot, bus into Bakewell 3 mins away and right on the monsal trail. Hobbs cafe and packhorse inn just down the road exceptional food and welcome. Site hosts great communication, and accommodating , we will be back. Great value for money.

Good campsite on a slight slope we were at the back so no road noise although only minor road.
The facilities were very clean and tidy and pleasant with quarry tiled floors.
Very welcoming upon arrival.

Great peaceful campsite. Owners were very friendly. Only one ladies shower but not busy so not an issue. Remember to take £1 coins for the shower. Location is fantastic for walking and cycling. Would recommend the Pack Horse pub down the road for dinner

Amazing views from this campsite. Close to local walks down into Bakewell. Extremely cheap and perfect for small group camping. The couple who run it are very friendly even letting us charge our phones in their house while we were camping. Overall a must visit campsite.
