Good overnight place to stay

Perfect location however rooms do let a lot of traffic noise in. Beds very hard but fine if you like firm mattresses. Very clean, rooms & bathrooms. Dominic was great! Nothing was too much trouble. Even when my daughter left the key in the room lol.

Booked a last minute room for the night after not eating to sleep in the car after bassfest and was meant to leave Sunday 2pm latest but got locked out our room for a hour n half at least due to a faulty lock. Was a nightmare because all our stuff was inside including my car keys to get into my car to get my contact lenses lol. A lovely lady named Amy I believe was with us pretty much the whole time except going to the office to get a locksmith etc cannot fault her enough in the end her manager gave her the all clear for us to use force on the door so out come the tool bag and a hammer to the door lock😂. They said we can have a full refund when we speak to customer service so very grateful. The lady actually leant us some chargers and plugs and let us stay longer than 2pm so we could get ready for day 2 of bassfest!

All the staff were very friendly and I found it ideal for my business trip the friendly staff recommended places to eat and visit during my stay, they kept providing me more coffee and fresh towels every day and I found the room clean and tidy for my stays.

Dominic was really helpful and pointed me in the right direction for lovely food and drink. Ended up getting a Turkish meal. Room was clean and tidy and now I have to fill out the rest of this with filler because you need to have 200 characters..

Domonic top host really helpful and nice person, gave me good information on what to do while staying at the hotel local attractions. Went to the bar he recommended was great and went for food where he recommended and that was also great. The travel lodge could have been more modern but I’m only writing this to fill the 200 minimum.

Staff lovely room bland, no hand wash in container 1ply toilet roll, coffee provided poor quality. Needs a overall.

After our home flooded during storm babet we found ourselves living in Travelodge for 5 weeks alone with several other families! (to say it was a stressful and traumatic time is an understatement)We all know Motels are designed for short stays, a weekend, maybe a week tops so it was a difficult time, and we got a good insight into how the Motel was run and Honestly the staff at travelodge were amazing, especially considering they had a bunch of traumatised customers on their hands! They never failed to make us smile, they were so caring and helpful, and I'll be the first to admit we weren't stress free customers! But they handled everything with professionalism and kindness. The one thing we appreciated more than anything is the fact that they are a pet friendly Travelodge so we were able to keep our cat with us! And the staff love and care for the animals that come to stay(probably more than their human guests lol)The Motel itself was continuously cleaned, the hygiene standards were excellent and all rooms are flea treated after any pet has been in them.The rooms themselves were in need of a refresh and even the staff mentioned that they were on a waiting list for a refurbishment(management if your reading this, they deserve a refurb' and the staff deserve a bonus!)Our first week in the Motel turned into a nightmare when we discovered bedbugs!(don't hold it against travelodge, they could be a five star hotel and still get hit by the damn things!) The staff handled the situation quickly and professionally and Travelodges standards on the matter were great, rooms on the same corridor are all checked(they bring in a special sniffer dog!) and any infestation is quickly treated. The staff kept us well informed and were again so professional-especially when I was crying my eyes out at them!The Location is good with easy access to the bypass and not to far from the motorway via the bypass, easy access to chesterfiled and sheffield and its close to all amenities(luckily)I can't thank the team at Travelodge enough for everything, they made a traumatic time a little less awful(Dom was even planing a Christmas party incase we were all still there for the holidays) x

I went there for business purposes booked by my work company. Can't complain. Bed was nice and comfy which is the only thing i needed. Shower presure wasn't great , but good enough.

Dated and old. Needs renovating and proper cooked breakfasts. Staff are friendly
