Nothing like it says, the Internet doesn't have a password so couldn't use it , there was no iron and it say hotel and bar but there's no bar .

Although the hotel is unmanned, access is via a key coded main entry door. The process works. Good clean basic room. Cheap for city stay. Parking is on the road. Can't rate the service as there is no one there. Please remove the Bar bit from the description.

Amazing hotel staff was really helpful with my experience as I knew I was going to be getting to the hotel late. I contacted them and they left me a spare key to the room so that I could get into the room, they also told me the code to the door so that I could enter the building when I arrived. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in Liverpool near the city centre. It is definitely worth the money as it is also very reasonably priced

We stayed for just one day, but we had a great experience there. We booked a trip to Liverpool for the match LFC against Bergamo. We got a little time issue one the way to the stadium and there were no taxi available at this time. So we asked the hotel, if they can send us a taxi. Just a few minutes later they managed to send us a good friend, which was driving us in not even 10 minutes to the stadium. The driver didnt even allowed us to give money him money.There is a trainstation nearby, so you can easily get to the downtown.Overall 5/5

The location isnāt great. Itās deserted and near loads of industrial units. There was nobody else around and almost as if nobody else was even staying there. Some of the windows are boarded up and the pub mustāve been shut for years. The outside needs to be renovated, but itās nice inside. The WiFi on the TV didnāt work and the window had to be propped open with an air freshener. The room door was left open with the key on the bed and there wasnāt any shower gel on arrival, although a small bottle (between three) was provided after we asked. You expect the basics no matter what youāre paying. If you want a good price and are not too bothered about the above, itās somewhere to rest your head.Response to owner:The location may be accurate, but what Iām saying is itās deserted.I didnāt mention anything about leaving belongings.It might be an up and coming area, but that doesnāt mean itās good now.There were boarded up windows.Youād get shower gel at a one-star hotel.Why advertise it as a bar and hotel when there isnāt a bar?Instead of doubling down and not being able to admit fault, you could take the advice, try and improve, get some better reviews and perhaps attract more customers and make more money?

Good value for money as UK is rather expensive. Room was clean and warm. Contactless check in was on time and ok.Not consistent with the description, photos misleading on Booking. "The Royal Crest is a 5-star property in Liverpool and offers a bar." It is not 5 star and has no bar (information came on arrival day), no reception, no place to store lugagge. This was huge disatvantage because in close area there is no shops, no restuarants, no kiosk, area is a bit creepy to walk, to city center is around 25 minutes (10 minutes walk to metro and than 2 stations) which would not be a problem if there was anyplace to buy juice or something to eat. Free toiletries where simply one tiny shower gel. Very poor soundproofing. For two people there was only one duvet. "Wired internet is available in public areas and is free of charge." - there are no public areas in this property and no internet. I asked for instructions but never get help.

Absolute worst experience with this hotel. Avoid at all costs unless you're prepared to be left stranded! Made reservations 7 months in advance through Airbnb, thought everything was good and dandy but this bloody "hotel" cancelled on me at 1pm on the day I was supposed to check in! No reason given. How was I supposed to get another room at the last minute? Had to book another one at 3 times the price and of course it's not Airbnb's problem either. DO NOT BOOK with Royal Crest in Liverpool or with Airbnb for that matter. Real hotels seldom cancel on you, Airbnb's rates are not cheaper than hotels anyway. Royal Crest is a bloody con job.

Areas not the nicest but it didn't feel unsafe or anything, just very out of the way. Rooms however were nice and seemed clean, check in was also very simple :)

The room was not worth the price we paid. The area is located in an industrial area and across the street from the Liverpool wastewater treatment plant. The smell was not pleasant during the day.Although the room presented clean, we found mouse droppings on the mattress. As well as a light burnt out in the bathroom. Plus it was 22 stairs up to the room.And nothing, absolutely nothing for food and entertain close by. Would not recommend this location.

Less than 24 hours before we were due to stay at the Royal Crest Hotel they cancelled our booking. Left us completely high and dry. Their excuse was that the room we booked hadnāt been existence for the past 6 months yet we had booked it within the last 3 months.Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!

Stay clear, lies, and so many fake reviews, we have arrived and quickly cancelled our stay, there is NO parking, the front door was wide open, the room was filthy. God knows where the bar is.

Such a lovely air bnb, stayed here for an event at blackstone street warehouse and it was perfect location for this. It is about a 20 min walk alway from the centre of Liverpool but for what it cost us to stay here itās well worth it, such good value for money. Room and bathroom was clean and tidy, had WiFi, tv and kettle with tea and coffee, also couple bottles of water. Free on street parking just outside. Would come back again when next in Liverpool.

If I could rate minus stars I would. They lie about their location and then change their description in their Airbnb synopsis. Avoid! Iāve never dealt with somebody so rude.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Do yourself a favour and do not book there. Stay far, far away!! We have never been to Liverpool and booked with them through AirBnB based on the fact that their description stated "short walk" to Liverpool City Centre - turns out that short walk would have taken 50 minutes! After we approached the host about this, they immediately denied this and then changed the text to "short travel distance" shortly after. At this point we were quite upset and asked to cancel the reservation as this was clearly a misrepresentation of their location. They then rudely responded not only refusing to refund us but also insulting our characters. They then told us that they normally "ALWAYS" (in capital letters) give people refunds if they ask politely, but wouldn't do so for us. Totally disgusting behaviour from someone who supposedly has a customer facing role. Revolting business practice. They are crooks and thiefs.

Stayed here for few nights at the Easter weekend whilst working in local area. Location was great for me. Nice warm welcome from Natalie who was super helpful throughout our stay.Rooms where spotless, comfy beds, nice quite area had great nights sleep. Showers great tooPerfect stay and will be booking again for next visit.
