Stayed for two nights, room was warm and comfortable and had everything you required for an overnight stay. The pub had a great atmosphere and was obviously dog friendly as many walkers visited throughout the two days. The restaurant menu had reasonable choices for breakfast and evening meals as well as bar type snacks. The whole ambience was pleasant and relaxing.

Stayed at the campsite, great location and amenities. Evening meal in the pub was excellent, however the coffee the next morning was WAY too expensive £15 for two double espressos :(

Rather unfriendly female member of staff (Somewhat reminiscent of Miss Trunchbull) stated 10pm close on Friday evenings (despite at least 20 people still in the outdoor area). I would have liked to think she mistook the day for a Sunday but she actually stated they are closed at 10pm on a Friday. Very strange.

Safe to say this will be the first and the last time we visit this site. We are members of the two main caravan and camping clubs and use independent owners as well.||||We expected far more from the site than what was on offer.  …

Good location. On the bus route to matlock and Bakewell. Next to peak shopping village. The beer garden is lovely|The toilet and shower rooms are dirty and smell musty . The pitches are to close to each other . …
