We stayed (2 adults and 3 children) for 4 nights. We got an apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, shower and toilet. That's why one of us had to sleep in the living room (folding couch). The location of the apartment is excellent. Located in the lively and touristic area of Liverpool between Limestreet Station and Albert Dock. So everything is close and accessible by foot..Below the apartment there are many restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. For improvement-/ some important things to know-For 5 people - there is only 1 toilet and shower, of course it is desirable to have 2 toilets. The hot water ran out every evening in the third shower. The noise from the street is significant - in the evening it's the bars and people celebrating, early in the morning the garbage collection family. Quite a bit of noise.

ROOF COLLAPSED ON OUR APARTMENT DURING OUR STAY! DO NOT STAY HERE!1 Water Street Apartments were not luxury apartments as advertised. Both apartments were dirty, with hair and rubbish from previous guests. The entrance walls were bare plaster and the stairs were damaged with dirty walls. There was also a foul odour around the building. Within the apartments, blinds were broken and missing. Ceilings and been partially decorated and there were damage to walls. Bathroom ventilation had covers missing with holes leading out of the ceiling, toilet seats were stained and dirty. One of the apartments was saturated and damp upon arrival. It was clear from the following that this had been over a long period of time: extremely strong damp odour (this smelled like urine, we now know it was the damp and saturated fiberglass that caused the odour), visible damp from ceiling to floor across an entire wall, paint that had bubbled and come away from the ceiling (we are now aware this was from the weight of water) and water in various places in the apartment. We could not open the windows as they were nailed shut: we could not ventilate the apartments and did not have a fire escape. We were unable to contact the apartments upon arrival. When preparing for bed we noticed the bedding was also damp with more wet patches discovered around the bedroom. During the night we were awoken by water coming into the apartments from the ceiling in various rooms, including through electrics (light fittings that were switched on when investigating the noise). We rang the emergency number for the apartments - which had an answerphone message to say offices opened at 8 am. With no answer from the number provided and no staff in the building, we rang the police to ask for assistance. The remaining guests in the other apartment were disrupted in the night as they attempted to offer assistance. Our belongings including clothes to wear for the remainder of our holiday were left damp. The stay at the apartments caused the party a huge amount of stress and upset.I was later contacted by the apartments and told that the roof had collapsed. After taking advice and discussing the incident with an electrician and builder we are aware that, due to negligence, we were in a life-threatening situation whilst in the apartments. The two staff I spoke to during this were rude, patronising and very unprofessional. This trip was for my hen do, two weeks before my wedding. An absolute nightmare. The apartments have no regard for the health and safety of guests. Since the incident, I have had to take legal advice and report the incident to the council. A few days later they allowed another hen party to stay in the same room! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
