Warlands Farm Guest House is an amazing stay for couples. Me and my wife recently stayed, we originally booked two nights but decided to extend our stay. Harold the host was extremely helpful and friendly and the rooms were fantastic, we booked a double room with private bathroom and it did not disappoint, it was spotlessly clean, had a smart TV and a comfortable bed and while only a small thing it is a winning touch from me, the bed had extra pillows provided so that we could sleep with our usual two pillow setup. The guest house has a full featured shared kitchen and a shared living room with comfortable sofa and large TV. Warlands Farm was also conveniently located if you have a car at your disposal, you are close to South Shields, Seaham's Glass Beach and Noses Point (30 mins) and if you are happy to go a little further a foot you can visit High Force Waterfall and the surrounding Moors although they are around an hour away. If you stay at the guest house be sure to pay the local farm shop a visit as well for the best and largest sausage roll you will ever eat! Can't recommend this place enough, will certainly be booking again.

It is a remote place with no local amenities. But clean. Doesn't do food but if you take some supplies there is a full equipped kitchen and somewhere to sit. Also a beautiful garden to sit in if you are just after peace and quiet. Has wi fi and tea and coffee in the room. Only one downside which can't be help is in the room I was in you could see if anyone sat on the toilet and qas laid in bed. Good sized showers in the double rooms. The single room is small but ok for sleep or a teenager traveling with family. At night you can Hear imowls and wildlife. Good value for money and if you don't mind a 30 minute drive to Seaham it is a nice cheaper option.
