My elderly friend (94) was seated on top of the toilet after a shower when the lid became loose and she fell quite badly onto her side. The owners were told and they just said “those toilet lids are always coming loose”. My friend’s partner who luckily was able to get her off the floor when he had heard her fall, told the owners it was a health and safety issue. They packed up and left early.Please be aware certain fixtures and fittings are obviously a hazard, especially for the elderly and semi-infirm.

Me and my partner picked this beautiful bed and breakfast for our little get away to visit the Mathewsons from bangers and cash , when we got there it was more beautiful than the pictures 💯 . Tina & Vanessa who's home it is it was an absolute privilege to stop there they both take pride in what they do , the wasn't nothing they wouldn't do for you to make ur stay the best , cleaning 10/10 , food 10/10 , hospitality 10/10 , addition to detail 10/10 . We are definitely going back 💯 tbf I didn't want to leave lol 😆 your both doing amazing job take care see you soon , all the best Marianne & Tony xxxxx 🙏🥰💕

The accommodation is very nice and immaculately presented with the smallest detail addressed. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and we could not fault the stay whatsoever and the breakfast was 10stars.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at The Grange. This really is one of the best boutique B&B’s we have ever stayed in. We opted for the York suite which is extremely spacious, comfortable and definitely a cut above the competition. Tina and Vanessa are very friendly/welcoming hosts and have extensive knowledge of the local area, with some top tips on local attractions and the best places to eat out. Breakfasts are tip top, with a good range of different options, however the full cooked breakfast and the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were first class. A big shout out to Vanessa for keeping the garden in beautiful condition - a lovely place to sit and relax in the sun and read a book. It’s clear that Tina and Vanessa have done their homework and I really think you would struggle to find anywhere to beat their offering. The standard of housekeeping and cleanliness are outstanding.
