Fabulous overnight stay with Libby at her wonderful 1 guest room retreat in a peaceful location just a couple of minutes from the busy A170.We’d read the reviews beforehand so booked an evening meal in advance. We were not disappointed, everything without exception was first rate and grown by Libby or sourced locally. Best breakfast ever!Comfortable en-suite with table for dining but the weather on arrival was glorious so we had the opportunity to eat in the garden.Highly recommended and without doubt 5*.

I had 2 nights at Rosegarth at the end of April 24, and it was perfect! A splendid location, which made me want to move back to the next village where I lived 15 years before. The room was a nice size, as was the bathroom, and everything was neat and clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, and no surprise to find that Libby wins most of the prizes at the Rosedale show for her cooking and her gardening. And so very pleasant to talk to.

The good included: own spacious entrance, autolit, with fridge (small freezer shelf) / Bed very good for comfort / Ensuite very good (with useful night light) / Overall spic and span / USB sockets / good Wifi / Pleasant hostess (Libby) / Very good breakfast (I’d suggest eyeing breakfast & meals menu beforehand to maximise your gastronomical delights). Food is served in your room. The bad included: Nescafe & Cadburys brands (some ban them; I’d bring Fairtrade coffee) / Bed (minor creaks can disturb in the small hours) / Ensuite (door creaks can disturb in the small hours: perhaps needs WD40). The inbetween included: the access road is a bit rustic / A rural landscape (we enjoy such) / Prices / Own carpark space. Overall my spouse & I were pleased that we stayed there, howbeit only for one night.
