First of all, I was very wary of booking a family room here (myself, husband, 11YO & 3YO) as it didn't look like your typical 'hotel' & I find it quite stressful stopping somewhere new with the children.We booked based on the good reviews & the cheap price...& I'm so glad we did, hence why I'm here to add my review for others who stress like me.The car park was easy to find once you kept an eye out for the Lauren Hemp mural which you cannot miss.There are some stairs in the corner of the car park & the door to the rooms is at the top & left of the stairs with key safes for easy self check in.We were given the key safe number when we arrived & called the number on the booking email.When entering the room, there was 1 double bed & 2 single beds, 2 chairs, a hot drink station, bathroom with soap/shampoo attached to the walls.First impressions were good, we had had a really long drive, & had got drenched in the rain before arriving at the room & it was lovely & warm when we walked in which was lovely.The bed were very comfortable, extra pillows if required were available in the room.As other reviews have mentioned you could head frequent noisy cars (boy racer style) going past the window but obviously that is no fault of the hotel.Saying this, it did not impact our sleep at all.The shower pressure was quite low & I have long hair so luckily I didn't need to wash it whilst I was here for 1 night but I imagine it would have took me quite a while if I did have to.Overall, a very comfortable stay. The kids loved it, we all slept well, the room was comfortable & warm. The only noise we heard from other guests were come people next door coming back into their room but other than that, nothing.Would definitely recommend & would stay again! Finding this room enabled us to have a lovely weekend meeting family.Thank you!

Had a great overnight stay, we were in town for a wedding and needed to check in early to get changed. Rob was so helpful, had our room ready for when we arrived with no trouble. The room was exactly what we needed, clean and comfortable and a great price. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back next time we are in this part of the country.

Great find, affordable and comfortable in a convenient locationStayed for two nights whilst visiting family, easy parking, easy access with a key lock just like an Airbnb, room whilst not large was very comfortable, great mattress, large shower, tea coffee, shower gel and shampoo, tv with Netflix etc, blinds and curtains, complimentary bottled water and nice and quiet. We stayed in room 2, owner was very friendly when we bumped into him and his cafe next door was good value and the staff really lovely. Ideally placed to walk to three pubs (the Orchards had excellent live music, the Kings Arms has a late license but we didn't visit), takeaways, Sainsbury and Lidl. We'll be back in a couple of months as it suited us down to the ground.

Stopped for a couple of days, nice change of scenery. The adjacent cafe provides a good selection of food. Parking is good, and only a few stairs between the car park and rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice to have Netflix for the odd evening film.

Great place for a few nights in Norfolk. Shelly the host showed us to our room. Showed us everything we need, brought me an extra chair as I am disabled. Room is very clean & very warm. Would stop here again, already recommended to a friend.
