We had a great stay here. Very friendly reception. Lovely to see the use of solar panels. Nice to meet Tiggy - a dog in training to be a hearing dog for the deaf. Don't let the lack on en suite put you off - it wasn't a problem.

I picked this B&B as they make and offer their own home made cakes and I can say I was not disappointed. They also socialise hearing dogs which we are interested in, Tiggy was lovely. Judy and Den were great hosts. I cannot praise Lodge View enough.

We can't recommend this Stamford B&B highly enough. Judy gave us a warm welcome, & although it was a last minute booking managed to give us a cup of tea, mine was a peppermint, with a choice of homemade flapjack or courgette cake! The guesthouse was lovely, comfortable & spotless with a beautiful modern shower room next door. Breakfast the next morning was just as good with delicious fresh berries from their allotment along with a choice of cereals. Toast & yogurt & orange juice were available & the cooked breakfast was made with eggs from chickens in the garden & tomatoes from the allotment, fresh & very tasty. We were impressed by the solar panels & rain water harvesting used at Lodge View, a must for those with an environmental conscience. Judy & her husband also find time to look after hearing dogs in their fist stages of training, we were privileged to meet Riley, a very friendly Cockapoo puppy. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

My daughter and I were made very welcome, some lovely touches - the tea and home-made cakes on arrival, the dressing gowns, fresh flowers. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious. And we were privileged to meet the wonderful Riley before he set off for his training as a hearing dog. Thank you Judy and Den.

I travelled solo to Stamford to meet family over the weekend. Stamford is a interesting small town with much history. The tourist info office in Stamford recommended Lodge View and I was very pleased with my stay.  …

We found this lovely little b & b through the tourist information office, and what a find, the owners made us feel so comfortable, they advised us on local pubs for our short stay in Stamford, and gave us a wonderful full english breakfast, I would recommend this b & b to anyone visiting the area.
