My Sports Lounge hotel review-Getting some tile work done at my studio unit so I decided to get a cheap room at The Sports Lounge for one night and the reviews weren't horrible. Check in took about 20+ min even though I prepaid online and I was the only one there. I went up to my room on the 3rd floor (2nd floor was the kitchen) and let's just say I will not be ordering food there. Got to my room and there is one outlet available near the door far away from the bed which I use a cpap so that kinda sucked. The aircon came on but there was no remote to adjust the temperature and I was freezing that night from it. No bottled water, no soap or shampoo. So I understand it's a cheap room so I'm not gonna gripe about those things too much and I headed out for the night. Well I ate something earlier that didn't agree with me and I went back to the room and found there was no running water. I was filling the toilet with whatever was blowing through me and the waste bin with vomit. Bum gun no water. I look at the toilet paper situation and there are about 10 squares. I call down and they said they will get it working and call me. They never called me. I left the water on so I could hear if it starts working after an hour or so. It was only working for 20 min and the water was like coffee (see video). I was absolutely miserable there and I just wanted to pass ony experience with them. Your's may be different. I think with attentive management it could be a decent place. I was able to get a cpl of bottles of water later when i asked but I just had no energy to go up and down the stairs being that ill. I do feel for the cleaning lady having to walk into my bathroom with the toilet full of waste and the waste bin half full of vomit. On the up side I didn't crap the sheets!

Nice location in the middle of activity and markets.It can be noisy, but that is expected . I was so tired each day, so it never mattered.My room felt big, but then another guest showed his room, which was even bigger, and both of us were single occupants! No one joining, which is allowed at no extra cost!Not much of a room service, the management is not conventional - more focused on the bar area.My room was changed to upper floor-it seems someone wanted to be at lower level-they should have provided some...thing to make me ride 4 floors !Water pressure was not great... it is something thing which can be improved as was done by my previous hotel in Pattaya.Suggetion:1.Change Toilet seat cover.2. The Washroom area can be improved.3. Bath gel bottles have small openings, and the gel is difficult to take out.4. Stairs area can be improved to make it look nicer.5. Room 11 door does not close nicely.. the lock socket needs a minor adjustment.

Last time I visited about a year ago, they had daily specials. Asked the waitress, she said no specials... I ordered chicken dinner and the meal looked very sparse on the plate, more mashed potatoes and peas would have filled out the plate.Most of the TVs were not in operation and they were playing Thai music... This was not how I remembered this place...

Cheap hotel in the very center of the city with inexpensive hearty breakfasts (130 baht for 2 toasts, sausage, bacon, jam, butter and coffee). The room is spacious, clean, has air conditioning, a refrigerator, large windows on Soi Buakhoi, and it is interesting to watch Tree Street. Very cozy staff until 17:00, after that the staff changes, many girls typical for the city center appear.

I can't sleep until 3 or 4 o'clock when Tree Town ends. I had breakfast downstairs, but it wasn't very tasty.
