Baan Captain Hook

I had a delightful stay at Baan Captain Hook beach hotel on Koh Larn Island! Traveling with my mom (65yo) and best friend, we rented a standard cabin on the beach side with an extra cot. The location was perfect, with access to the town and a clean saltwater pool on-site. The staff was incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.Breakfast was a treat, especially the delicious rice soup with fresh ginger and herbs. For those who prefer meat and eggs, they offered a tasty option of eggs with sausage. My only minor suggestion would be to provide access to drip coffee (not instant) during breakfast. Nevertheless, we had no major complaints.In addition to the fantastic amenities, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the room came with a motorcycle. While we chose not to use it due to our lack of experience riding one, it's a great option for those who are comfortable with motorcycles and want to explore the island on two wheels. Instead, we decided to rent a golf cart from another company, as it seemed like a safer and more convenient mode of transportation for us. Our mom, in particular, preferred the golf cart, and it allowed us to navigate the island easily, taking in the breathtaking scenery without any worries. The hotel also has a taxi service that we used to travel to the ferry at the end of our stay, this was quite convenient and easy!One thing that stood out during our stay was the staff's dedication and pride in their work. They went above and beyond to ensure the property was well-maintained and kept clean at all times. It was evident that they genuinely cared about the guests' experiences and were always ready to assist with a warm smile. This level of hospitality added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel welcomed and appreciated.Overall, our experience at Baan Captain Hook beach hotel was fantastic. The beachfront cabin, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and access to town made it a memorable vacation for us. Whether you prefer a motorcycle or a golf cart to explore the island, you'll undoubtedly enjoy the serene ambiance and exceptional service this charming hotel has to offer.One thing to note is that there was no access to filtered water, but they provided water bottles daily. Overall, Baan Captain Hook beach hotel is a wonderful choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on Koh Larn Island outside of Pattaya.

Good enough, if your room in line, nearest to the sea, you will not hear any noise from bars.

Clean, nice, smells good inside the room. The staff are nice and talkative and the service is very good.
