This homestay was absolutely as beautiful as it is described here and is even more than you'll expect. It's the perfect location to arrive in Bangkok. Since I had to fight against my jetlag I had the chance to fully enjoy this oasis and just relax the first two days. The first morning Pop introduced me to the monk ritual as it's described here and it was such an outstanding experience. The family's museum and the story behind the Fahsai Homestay is also truly fascinating. The breakfast every morning was the best I had in a while, the room was perfect and that their dog kept me company was even better. Such a sweet creature. I felt sorry to leave this place. I will come back someday. That's for sure!

A homestay run by a family living in a house that has been preserved for over 100 years. The hosts have a great passion for introducing their culture to people from other cultures. Although it is far from the city, it may be a good choice if you consider lodging as part of your sightseeing and cultural experience.

What a beautiful place to stay at when in Bangkok. They have amazingly made cottages in the property that accommodates two people per cottage. The rooms are super clean. The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into this place. The property is very well maintained. You can stay here with friends or family or even when you are solo. The ambience inside is very peaceful and relaxing. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed here for several days and had a great experience. We can’t recommend it enough! Nitaya and Pop are incredibly friendly hosts who take great pride in their well kept property. Pop gave us a tour of his 150 year old home that doubles as a museum of unique antiquities and family heirlooms. They also gave us the unique opportunity to meet and feed the monks every morning as the collect their daily alms. Nitaya’s homemade breakfast with coffee and tea every morning is delicious. The courtyard overflows with plant life is like an oasis in the middle of the city. Staying here was a real pleasure and at a great value.
