Stayed here for two nights. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. The room was very cramped and there was barely enough room to open my suitcase on the floor. There was nowhere to hang my towels after showering. The lift was noisy and woke me up in the morning. The bathroom was really nice, the shower being the particular highlight given it was very spacious. The pond out the front has way too many gold fish in such a confined space. It’s very cruel and I felt so sad for them. Some of them sat on the bottom and barely moved.

Upon checking in I was given a small upgrade without explanation, after I made the payment, staff then informed me that the reason for the small upgrade was because a wall was being demolished on the following day, and only that day.The demolition went on for 3 days, over the entirety of my stay, and involved a lot of drilling, smashing, floor and walls vibrating. On the last day I was offered a refund if I checked out immediately that morning, but I didn't have time to do so.I'm leaving one star given the dishonesty i.e., not telling me about major renovations until after I had already paid, and lying about the extent of the renovations. Otherwise the hotel is quite nice.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and we loved it. The spacious and beautiful room. The bed and pillows very comfortable.It is very well located, half a block from an avenue with a 7eleven on the corner. A 5-minute walk from the BTS and almost 10 from a port stop to get around by boat.The staff was very friendly, they helped us with some problems we had at the airport.Perhaps as the continental breakfast improves, it lacks a little variety.We definitely recommend it and we would return!

Decent hotel for the price with a good location. However, out of the two receptionists, there was one very nice and one very unpleasant. He was not at all helpful, didn't say hello, and any question I asked him was followed by a negative answer. If the bed was not so comfortable, I would have given 1 star for the overall experience because of this gentleman. It's a shame.

This is a very chic hotel in the heart of Bangkok. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the amenities are really cool. Plus they have a Jacuzzi at the hotel. And if you book for a larger and more expensive room, there is a bath inside.

My sister and I stayed for two nights in this lovely and quaint hotel.An old house has been converted in a charming hotel stay.The Pros:1)Has a very old-school charm, which is such a welcome sign in such a busy Bangkok2)Though located at a good location, still the street is quiet and peaceful. We were there during Songkran, still the whole road was so peaceful3)The location is excellent, with bus stops, 7/11s, money exchange, malls, cheap and expensive food choices, massage places and really good cafes all walking distance.4)The lady who sat and checked us in, spoke great english and explained really well if we had any doubts5)The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless.The Cons:1)We had to help the lady to take our luggage be it after check-in or check out.2)The bathroom door, I wish was a little different. There were slits as the old style. But due to that: lights, sounds and even smell not fully enclosed.3)Generally I do not like, the AC to be above my head, as I get headache. I prefer to the side or even in front.4)I really wish there was a proper cupboard. As they had only an open space to hang your clothes. I wanted to fold and keep properly inside a cupboard.I will still book next time and come, as I felt at peace at this stay. There was a je ne sais quoi charm and feel.Thank You Baan Vajra for such lovely start to our vacation in Thailand.
