5 pounds round steak - cut into 1 inch strips

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 clove garlic, minced

¾ cup distilled white vinegar

1 tablespoon white sugar

½ cup ketchup

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions for Preparation

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the steak strips on all sides. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the steak strips to a baking dish. Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar, sugar, and ketchup. Then add mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 3 minutes. Pour the sauce over the steak strips.

Cover the baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Then uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
