Cheesy Broccoli Casserole
Ingredients Needed

5 tablespoons butter, divided

1 medium onion, chopped

2 (10 ounce) packages chopped frozen broccoli, thawed

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

1 cup mayonnaise

2 large eggs, beaten

1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice

½ teaspoon garlic salt
-
½ teaspoon seasoned salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

12 buttery round crackers, crushed fine
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut 2 tablespoons of butter into small chunks and set aside.

In a medium skillet, melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until golden, about 7-9 minutes.

Transfer the cooked onion to a 2-quart casserole dish. Add in the broccoli, condensed soup, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, eggs, lemon juice, garlic salt, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together thoroughly. Top with crushed crackers and dot with the reserved butter pieces.

Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the top is golden brown.
