1 (11 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained

1 (8.5 ounce) package dry corn bread mix

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

1 small onion, diced

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, dry cornbread mix, sour cream, 3/4 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese, onion, and egg. Stir until everything is well combined, then pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Afterward, sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Cheddar cheese over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
