Ingredients List
-
9 uncooked lasagna noodles
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
1 cup minced onion
-
1 ½ cups cottage cheese
-
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
-
1 large egg, beaten
-
2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
-
2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
-
1 pound cooked small shrimp
-
1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained and flaked
-
⅓ cup milk
-
⅓ cup dry white wine
-
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in the boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water, then set aside.
-
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring, until soft. Remove from heat and mix in cottage cheese, cream cheese, egg, basil, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside.
-
In a large bowl, combine condensed soup, shrimp, crabmeat, milk, and white wine. Set aside.
-
Lay 3 cooked lasagna noodles in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread 1/3 of the onion mixture over the noodles, then top with 1/3 of the soup mixture. Repeat the layering of noodles, onion mixture, and soup mixture two more times. Finish with a generous layer of Cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
