Instructions

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into 1/2-inch thick fries.

In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with oil, sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes. Arrange the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
